Our signature service is our LGBTQIA+ peer support helpline serving the Greater St. Louis area. Call in anytime on Friday - Sunday between 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM to access free, confidential, and identity-affirming peer support. Call in to process emotions, talk through resources, brainstorm ideas to assist a friend or loved one, or just to have a meaningful conversation. Whatever your needs, we are here to support, or we will connect you to someone who can.
SQSHBook is our compiled online resource database of LGBTQIA+ resources in the St. Louis region, including housing, food, healthcare, support groups, social events, and more. Search resources alphabetically, by category, or by audience. Access a map of LGBTQIA+ affirming spaces around town. Browse our educational tools before, during, or after calling or chatting with us. Or just use SQSHBook as a stand-alone service.
We value our callers’ privacy and right to withhold personal information from uses that they are not aware of or do not consent to. All caller information is protected by our Helpline Volunteers, Clinical Supervisors, and Practicum Supervisor. All caller information is considered confidential, including caller’s name, age, gender, occupation, relationship status, etc. All information regarding calls is discussed in private only with other SQSH volunteers, Clinical Supervisors, or Practicum Supervisors.
