Asian Shedu Cats

Asian Shedu cats are very close relatives with classic Shedu cats. Yet they are smaller, have longer and heavier bodies and incredible palette of additional coat colors, patterns and impressive coats of dense, long fur.

Tamoyasu Katsu is the creator of these cats. Asian Shedu cats were kept mostly like very expensive, elite pets in houses of Yakudza families. Such cats were great and very expensive gifts. Unlike classic Shedus these cats are meant to live in house, of course, house must have big territory to be a good place for such an animal, yet Asian cats are family guardians. They will protect their territory and their people. These cats have very explosive temperament and are often used in cat fights. But frequently those fights end only with very impressive show off with growls, hissing and puffing all that fur. So, often it is more about mental and «ceremonial» fight, then real bloody mess. These cats also can be ridden.

Overall, these cats are your typical status animals. Their reputation is still a bit iffy as strongly associated, connected with mafia. And though now a days breeders try hard to get rid of such associations it is not easy job to do.

These cats are famous for their amazing fur. This fur is very important in social life of cats. Fur is main tool of intimidation and courting. If people want to see real fight between cats they will shave them. «Bald» cats tend to fight more aggressively. There are several types of Asian cats. They have different ears, short or long and fluffy tails, dense manes. These cats are often shaved and get different hair-cuts. Owners just love to get creative with their purring monsters. And cats absolutely do not mind it.

The fighting side of Asian Shedu cats life is vast and well developed. Mostly in underground, illegal communities.
