Sicknesses

Sicknesses in Asralons and The Forgotten World are common, and unfortunately have taken many of the royalties lives within the lore. Here is a list of all the sicknesses within the worlds of The Seasonvitas!

Common Sicknesses:
These sicknesses listed below are common and easily treatable! No need to visit the doctor if you have any of the following:

- Cold
A cold is the most common, alongside a fever. A cold can be caught by Summercimexes, Bloomspirituses, and Autumnauras. This sickness is normally caused by rhinoviruses, or other viruses. It is contagious through a sick dragons coughs or sneezes.
Symptoms of the cold is runny nose, sneezing, and congestion.
This sickness will normally go away in less than 14 days.

- Fever
A fever is one of the most common sicknesses and can be caught by Wintervelluses, Bloomspirituses, and Autumnauras. Fevers are usually caused by an infection that the immune system couldn't fight.
The symptoms of a fever is sweating, chills/shivering, headache, muscle aches, loss of appetite, irritability, dehydration, and general weakness.
This sickness will normally go away in around 1-3 days.

- Flu
The flu is another common sickness among the dragons. It is caught by all the four main tribes, and it is an infection that attacks the lungs, nose, and throat. It is contagious through a sick dragons coughs, sneezes, and germs.
The symptoms of the flu is fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, congestion, runny nose, headaches, and fatigue.
This sickness will go away with rest and hydration (3-7 days).

- Ghost Throat
This sickness is common among the dragons (caught by all tribes). The Ghost Throat attacks the victim's lungs and throat. Its normally caused by eating sick animals or certain unripe fruits.
The symptoms include headache, sore throat, congestion, and insomnia.
Ghost Throat can be treated with rest and drinking mint tea (or breathing in mint scent). Honey can also be used to soothe the throat.

Uncommon Sicknesses:
These sicknesses below are mainly uncommon and need medicine to cure them. Doctors may or may not be required.

- Cursed Cough
This sickness is a contagious cough that can be caught by all dragons. It attacks the throat and lungs more severely then other sicknesses. This can get bad very quickly if not kept under control with medication. This sickness has been around since the beginning of the Eclipseviators. Rumor was, back then, that the Eclipseviators had brought the Cursed Cough - many believed that the dragons were cursed, so named the sickness after that idea.
The symptoms include sore throat, dyspnea, and fatigue.
The Cursed Cough is treatable with medication called, "Acilan." If sickness is allowed to worsen, it will kill off the victim by stopping the lungs, but it does take awhile for it to kill off a healthy dragon.
