NAMES:
Wintervelluses are usually named after the things around them- which is a frozen landscape with a large taiga forest within Longwinter. Winters also commonly have two part names, for example: Snow(-)bird.

DESIGN:
The Wintervelluses are furred dragons with barely any scales to protect themselves. These dragons have large, feathered wings instead of regular bat-like wings. The most notable features of the Wintervelluses is: their talons, which have rough paw-pads that prevent them from slipping on the ice; their large jaws-spans; and the fluffs of fur at the ends of their tail. The tail fluff serve no purpose other than being able to express when Winter is angry. Male Wintervelluses will have fur growing from their chins, while females will not.

ABLITIES:
The Winters have unique abilities, which consist of being able to extend the length of their teeth and claws. They can also freeze themselves in a thick layer of ice to protect themselves from any form of danger. Wintervelluses can also release an ear piercing shriek from their jaws, similar to an owl's noises. With this, they can also mimic the sounds of an owl.

The Wintervellus was the second tribe to come to Asralons from Prosperitas. After learning the safety of ancient Sparklingdew, King Spruce of the first Wintervellus conquered the lands of certain death; Longwinter. Spruce had proved to the Seasonvita that life in a land where plants wilt was not as impossible as they thought...

King Spruce was a deep brown Seasonvita with blue accents on his scales. He was an honest, determined, but stubborn king. Spruce always wanted to bring great advancements to his tribe, as well as prove that the impossible was possible. Being the ruler to a new tribe who's lands were cruel and heartless was right up his ally; especially since many Seasonvita believed that the land was a death sentence. Spruce and a large group of Seasonvita traveled to ancient Longwinter where they struggled. A couple Seasonvita, including Spruce's wife, Passion, ended up dying to the cold and harsh weather. However, with many advancements to keep the dragons of Longwinter warm, they survived against all odds. Spruce was the ruler from when he was 203, till he was 321 years old.

Queen Breathmist was a light blue and purple Seasonvita with brown fur. She was a paranoid, generally unconfident queen who is often looked down upon within history. At the time of her rule, only 3 towns were standing, alongside a royal competition ring; which was built for her father (Spruce) as he reportingly missed competing against the Eclipseviators. However, Breathmist did not participate in any of the games in the ring, nor cared much about it despite it being apart of her family's values. Instead, Breathmist was trying to make the early Wintervelluses leave for ancient Sparklingdew because of the hardships and death Longwinter has brought upon them. The majority of early Wintervellus denied this and instantly rebelled, leading to a revolutionary war in the kingdom of Longwinter. This war ended up with Breathmist's execution inside her father's competition ring. She had ruled from when she was 164, till she was 187 years old; the shortest amount of time a ruler has ever ruled in Wintervellus history.

Queen Seahorse was a dragon with orange scales and light pink splotches on her, as well as long, thick fur. She was taller than average, but had a slimmer build. Seahorse was known for her gratitude and competitive nature, which led to her being a champion in the ring. She was also known for her impact on the tribe's naming system when she renamed herself Frosthorse, stating that Seahorse sounded like a Bloomspiritus name. Many agreed and a large majority of Wintervellus had changed their name to show that they were separate from the other dragon tribes. Frosthorse stayed on the throne since she was 52 years old, till she was 154 when she past away from a terrible sickness.

Queen Penguin was a MTF transgender Wintervellus with dark brown fur and an off-white stomach. She was known for her tough, but wise personality. Penguin had been a muscular, but strict Wintervellus who brought in the majority of the Wintervellus's wealth. By selling advanced melee weapons to, mainly, the Bloomspiritus, the Kingdom of Longwinter became the wealthiest within Asralons. Other than showing the tribe's power and strength, Penguin's rule was uneventful. Another thing to mention is that Penguin was never known as being trans till it was publicly revealed by her son, Freezefang, after her unfortunate passing. Penguin had ruled from the age of 48, till she was taken by sickness at the age of 143.
Legacy: Penguin's Wing was a town built in memory of Penguin.

King Freezefang was a fluffy, intersex Wintervellus (who preferred he/him pronouns) with cream colored fur. Freezefang had publicly announced his mother being transgender, which shocked the tribe as it was strongly believed that Penguin was genuinely a female Wintervellus. The king was seen as a mostly reserved, but caring Wintervellus, despite the imagery that was placed on the tribe being scary and strong. Despite this, he was a great king who married to his beloved, King Iciclesnap, who was almost immediately brought worry to the tribe due to many claiming that Iciclesnap had been imprisoned once. This brought a lot of controversy in Longwinter, which was deemed to be correct when their beloved intersex king goes mysteriously missing. Many immediately blamed it on Iciclesnap, but there was no evidence against him. Freezefang had been king since he was 57, having ruled till he was 124 years old.

King Iciclesnap was a scarred warrior with pure white fur and bright, startling yellow eyes. Iciclesnap had been married to Freezefang, who mysteriously went missing, leading to Iciclesnap being ruler due to having no other heir. Panicking, Iciclesnap was immediately accused of Freezefang's disappearance due to having a criminal record from before. This criminal record having only him recklessly drinking on multiple occasions. Iciclesnap panickily tried to explain that the criminal record was from a long time ago when he was having a hard time, mentally. His family stepped in and strongly supported Iciclesnap's explanation, which eased a few Wintervellus. It was also said by Iciclesnap himself that Freezefang had been his cure and that he stopped drinking for the king after he realized that it was hurting Freezefang. Unfortunately, some Wintervellus were not convinced, but enough were to allow Iciclesnap remain on the throne, despite his instability after losing Freezefang. He did not return to drinking, thankfully. He ruled from when he was 124 years old, till he was 187, a longer lifespan than most Asralon dragons.

Monarch Snowfox was a pale orange and blue Wintervellus with a right wing that is underdeveloped. Snowfox was a tough dragon, who cared deeply for their tribemates. They enjoyed celebrations, so naturally they invented multiple festivals for the Wintervellus to get together and bond as a tribe. Snowfox's most popular festivals ended up being the Last Breath festival, Sweettooth's festival, and the Royal Appreciation festival. Snowfox it a large symbol for the festivals in Longwinter because of the festivals they've created. They ruled from when they were 48 years old, till they were 157.

Queen Frosthawk was an albino Wintervellus who was deaf. Frosthawk had been a heavily debated queen due to her inability to hear, so many judged them from the moment they sat on the throne. However, Frosthawk had proved them wrong with her wise, quick thinking and excellent advice. She had been a heavily feared monarchy, according to the tribes. Some even thought that Frosthawk had the ability to foresee the future as they had defeated many of their foes. Frosthawk was even challenged for their throne, but their first daughter was unsuccessful in beating her. Although her rein was prized by the Wintervellus, all good things had to come to an end. At the old age of 171, Frosthawk had past away, having ruled since they were only 62 years old.

Queen Iceberg was a light blue Wintervellus with a grumpy personality. She didn't do much but care for her tribe, she is often the most forgettable queen. The reason she is listed as a more important ruler than the others is due to the fact that she was the one who forged the appeasement deal with the Autumnaura. Iceberg had been an alright queen for her time period and didn't really do anything more eventful. She ruled from when she was 48 years old, till she was 132, when her daughter Frosthorn had slaughtered her for the throne.

Queen Frosthorn was a pale purple Wintervellus with large, twisted horns and many scars. She had been incredible queen for the Wintervellus as she had brought many advancements to the tribe. Wintervelluses had praised her highly and she was feared greatly of, similarly to Frosthawk. Frosthorn introduced new weaponry like firearms and bombs, which were not shared with the other dragon tribes. There was other things she had brought into the tribe though, like self opening doors, light bulbs, and prosthetic limbs. Windmills were another grand invention during Frosthorn's era, and they were used to create electricity. Frosthorn had ruled from the age of 54 until she was 179 years old, when she past away from old age.

Queen Downfall was a pale pink and purple Wintervellus with curled, ram-like horns. She had brought a time of horror as Wintervellus feared her young age would cause the kingdom of Longwinter to crumble. Downfall was aware of this and had tried to prove herself multiple times, but most of them were unsuccessful. When she caught Prince Suntaker, the only Summercimex heir at the time, she had killed him on the spot in order to prove her worthiness. The Wintervellus quickly looked down upon this action and knew it could lead to a war with the Summercimex. Queen Downfall and Queen Sunrise had met each other to fight over what happened, which ended in a disaster. Sunrise declared war against the Wintervellus immediately, and so the two tribes fought against each other for many years. Eventually, Downfall was mysteriously slain and a hybrid by the name of Hazel had took them out of Longwinter and to Warmbreeze.

Queen Sunrise was a light orange and brown Summercimex who had been ruling over her tribe for about 20 years before the Wintervellus fell into her hands. Sunrise had been an alright ruler, but many Wintervellus were terrified due to being under a non-Wintervellus ruler and being stripped from their home. Many were in hysteria during this time, which caused many Wintervellus-related incidents such as storming the palace. There was also a new sickness appearing in the Wintervellus at the time, which was discovered to be a type of heatstroke. This was when the idea of shaving fur originated from, due to many fearing getting ill. Sunrise ruled over the Wintervellus and Summercimex till she was 62, having ruled over the Wintervellus for only a few months before.  

Queen Hazel was a yellow and blue hybrid who had took the throne after Sunrise's mysterious assassination. Hazel had been a great, but disrespected ruler. The Summercimex and Wintervellus both try to ignore the fact that their history has been stained by a law-breaking hybrid, but Hazel's rule was too significant to be erased. Hazel had raised both Frostbite, Downfall's youngest daughter, and Goldenheart, Sunrise's only heir. Both Frostbite and Goldenheart were dragonets, so they could not rule their kingdoms. Hazel had aided them till they were both 25, where she left the throne for Goldenheart to take. Goldenheart begged for Hazel to stay, as she was the only dragon she associated as a mother figure, but the hybrid had left Warmbreeze all together. It is assumed she lived her final days on the Rogue Island, but she had left without a trace. Hazel had ruled from when she was 24, till she was 45 years old in which she left the kingdom.

Queen Frostbite was a light purple Wintervellus with splashes of silver on her fur. Frostbite was a heartbroken, emotional mess, but she did an alright job at ruling the Wintervellus tribe. The return home was painful for Frostbite, as most of the towns and structures had been injured. A few Wintervellus stayed behind in Warmbreeze due to the worry that the new queen would be just as terrible of a ruler as Downfall was. Frostbite had ordered repairs to the towns and castle, as well as demolishing some areas as well. Spruce's Arena was torn down and replaced with a town named directly after her, although this was not a popular opinion, many were not very surprised that it occurred. The arena was not used, other than for the Last Breath festival and took up too much room. Firesword of the Summercimex also put a negative output on the arena, so it was torn down. Frostbite, however, ruled from when she was 25 years old until she was 52 years old, when she gave up the throne to her daughter.

Queen Snowbird is the current ruler of the Wintervellus.
She is a pale purple, pink, and blue Wintervellus with long curly horns. She stablized the Wintervellus's land swiftly with her bright ideas, and is often seen as pretty smart. Snowbird is the current ruler of the Wintervellus tribe, and has been recently been getting concerned about the advancement of the Eclipseviators...
