NAMES:
Names of these creatures derive from various minerals, rocks, vegetation and critters who lie in the darkness. Examples of these names are Lichen, Salamander and Oxide. Names can also be things that minerals consist of. Examples of this are dust, oxide, and possibly elements of the periodic table!

DESIGN:
These dragons are practically the size of Wintervelllus. They have a smaller wingspan due to being in caves. Though the dragons who live in the mountains have adapted to have slightly bigger wingspans and lung size. On their back feet, they have an extra claw that helps them cling to walls. The hard platings in the back of their neck and down to the tail, this is one of their main natural armors. At the end of the tail, there is a hard, flat crystal disc that is commonly sharpened in case of emergency. On each side of the dragons' body are reflective, oval scales that seem to be crystal. Though when the dragon turns to stone, these oval scales do not turn to stone! Colors can include anything but there are no neons or bright colors. Be rational. And yes, black is available to everyone and is not a rare color! There are no differences between gender, but the royals have diamond shaped reflective scales.

ABLITIES:
The natural abilities of this tribe, which applies to everyone, is that they have night vision, healing capabilities and a sonic roar. They can also “pull” and “infuse” magic from/into crystals. It takes practice to perfect this ability but helps in the long run as it can heighten their healing. Though some dragons are born with better magic so they have no use for the crystals, while others may not be born with it at all. Another ability is the capability to turn into stone. Think gargoyles. Of course, royals and few nobles have better magic by default.

The Crystalsilex are one of the most ancient tribes, living in caves for what seemed to be eons. They emerged and now live alongside the Eclipseviator after the Seasonvita left. The species of Asralons do not know of this species.

Queen Chrysoprase the first Crystalsilex ruler and was a laid back but loyal Crystalsilex. Her scales were a light gray with a pastel blue underbelly, green crystals and golden eyes. Her loyalty to her tribe was one to be greatly admired. The important thing of note is that Chrysoprase formed a group of spies called the Owl’s Eye. She had ruled since she was 92 and died at the age of 253. Her death was of natural causes.

Queen Band was a muscular, red and orange Crystalsilex who listened to the people. Her mother didn’t do much to rule the people, so Band picked up the slack and started to make homes for the tribe. During work she had a couple kids. Many dragons thanked her as most of the kingdom worked alongside her. While digging out a home, a tunnel collapsed on top of Band and paralyzed half of her body. She was dragged out of the rubble and sent to a healer, but they couldn’t do anything. But it didn’t stop Band from working on things within the palace. Queen Band ruled from the age of 122 and died at the age of 236 due to overworking her body.

King Sagenite was a Crystalsilex with orange scales with blue undertones and flecks of a darker orange who took pride in his role but was arrogant. He rose to the throne due to being the eldest child of the late Queen Band. His siblings didn’t fight him for the position because they knew he would win. Regardless, Sagenite ruled the kingdom alongside his husband Howlite and later had children which turned out to be twins! Sagenite ruled from the age of 132 and died at the age of 208.

Queen Stalagmite & Queen Stalactite were twins, the two ruled over the Crystalsilex kingdom of Silvermark. Though the twins thought the work best be split between the two regions of Silvermark. Stalagmite ruled over the underground portion of the kingdom while Stalactite ruled over the mountains. Stalagmite was a dragon with white scales and brown stripes whereas Stalactite had brown scales with dark blue spots. They both started ruling at the age of 114. Stalagmite lived until she was 243 and Stalactite lived until she was 223.

Queen Indium was a MTF ruler with purple scales and silver spots, who looked for the best in people. She was a sweet ruler though gullible. Some of the Crystalsilex manipulated and guilt tripped Indium into doing their bidding but it was later shut down by a pink Crystalsilex named Chalk. Chalk chased them off and stood up for Indium regardless of rank. The two later married and Chalk taught Indium to stand up for herself among other things to be confident. Some would say they were the perfect couple. They later had a child named Olm and lived and died peacefully side by side. Queen Indium started ruling at the age of 130 and it ended at the age of 266.

Monarch Olm was the first non-binary ruler! Their scales were a mix of pastel orange and pink colorations. They were an artistic, devoted and attentive ruler who did their best to live up to the kingdom's expectations. They came out as non-binary a few years before ruling and has kept the name Olm throughout their lifetime. Olm started ruling at the age of 121 after Indium had died. They later died at the age of 261 due to natural causes.

King Larimar was a cocky, light blue Crystalsilex. He led the kingdom with an iron claw. His first act as ruler was to disband the Owl's Eye, thinking they were no longer needed because they had enough information about the other tribes. But it led to the tribe being found out by the Eclipseviator. There was no hiding the tribe any longer, so he revealed them to the Eclipseviator. Though many years prior the Seasonvita had left, which Larimar was not aware of due to the spy group being disbanded. His rule started at the age of 138 and ended when he was 217 due to being killed.

Queen Opalite was a kind, blue and green Crystalsilex who started her rule in a peaceful way. It stayed that way for a while until a portal was discovered while on an outing with Queen Moonlight of the Eclipseviator. It was dormant and neither tribe could figure out how to open it, so they left it alone. In a later meeting with Queen Moonlight and two other Eclipseviator, they theorized that the Seasonvita had left through the portal. This was kept between the ones who were in the meeting itself. She lived a long time but upon hearing Queen Moonlight had been killed, Opalite stepped down from the throne in fear she would be killed for knowing about the portal. Her brother Lace then started to rule. Opalite started her rule at the age of 130 and later stepped down at the age of 252.

King Lace was a white and orange dragon who often had much to say. His opinions were said without thinking. Which made him honest but not that likable. Though somehow, he met a beautiful Crystalsilex by the name of Goldstone. The two got together and lived a good life. Neither were ready to start a family but eventually came around to adopting a dragonet named Rhodo. Rhodo was a quiet child and was given the title of prince. Years passed and Prince Rhodo learned he couldn’t rise to the throne due to being an illegitimate child. So, in a fit of rage, he killed King Lace and then was sent to prison. King Lace ruled from the age of 105 and died when he was 149.

Queen Goldstone was a stocky, orange and yellow dragon and wife to the late King Lace. She had a knack to punish those who got in her way. Her first act was to imprison her adopted son, Rhodo after he had killed King Lace. Years later, she met up with King Nuclear of the Eclipseviator to found the festival called the Crystaling Eclipse. Her rule started at the age of 143 and ended when she was 249.

Queen Fairburn was a gray, orange and red Crystalsilex who sought to gain control of everything. She started ruling the kingdom at the age of 139 and married her husband, Moss years later. Many years passed and the royals had two children named Fuchsite and Lake. Fuchsite, the older hatchling, died soon after he had hatched due to natural causes. Months later Lake was born. He was born with a cleft lip. In a fit of rage with her children’s misfortune, she took it out on Moss. An argument happened and later Moss was found dead in the queen and king's bedchamber with Fairburn standing to the side. Fairburn was then later arrested, and her title was stripped from her. The ex-queen’s brother, Dolomite, had taken over the throne until Lake was old enough. Fairburn later died after the events of Oxide at the age of 259.

King Dolomite had ruled over the kingdom for a short period of time. His scales were a gray and blue mixture. Dolomite had only stepped up to the throne after his sister, Fairburn, was imprisoned after killing her husband. He kept things at bay until Lake, who now goes by Oxide, was old enough to take to the throne. Dolomite started ruling at the age of 186 and ended at the age of 239 after he stepped down.

Monarch Oxide was a deep gray dragon with hints of orange and blue. When they hatched, they were given the name Lake and their parents had realized their second child had a cleft lip. This hindered their feeding and speech. When Lake was old enough, they started speaking but the words weren’t forming right. It sounded like they were constantly out of breath and words weren’t forming as they should. Eventually Lake adopted the name Oxide and came out as non-binary! After the incident with Ex-Queen Fairburn, King Dolomite took over until Oxide was old enough. And after they ascended to the throne, they went on to live a happy life and married Iris, an orange and purple female Crystalsilex. They eventually had multiple children. Years later, the peace was disturbed when Ex-Queen Fairburn had escaped from prison and came after Oxide’s family. She had killed Dolomite, Iris and countless of Oxide’s children. At the end of it all, Oxide was killed. They started ruling at the age of 54 and it ended at the age of 137 after they were killed.

Queen Iolite was a lavender scaled dragon who was a kind ruler though often stayed away from crowds. Many thought that she wasn’t fit to rule but there was no one else after Oxide so she had to step up after Oxide had died. Iolite was daughter to the late King Dolomite and roughly 20 years older than the late Monarch Oxide. The kingdom was in shock as to what happened with the previous rulers, so Iolite did her best to calm down everyone and get things back to the way they were. Iolite then met her wife and the two lived a good life with their three children. Queen Iolite started ruling at the age of 152 and ended at the age of 254.

King Sulfur had yellow and green scales and was an anxiety-ridden ruler. Constantly stressed with the upkeep of the kingdom, he shut himself inside and stayed away from crowds in order to hopefully ease the stress. Arguments spread quietly that Sulfur wasn’t fit to be king, and they were right. Sulfur stepped down from the throne and hid away in the palace. His childhood friend Sunstone did not have any of it and asked if she could set everyone straight. Sulfur hesitantly agreed and let Sunstone take over. Sulfur was eternally grateful for Sunstone stepping up. The king started ruling at the age of 120 and stepped down at the age of 155.

Queen Sunstone was a yellow and brown Crystalsilex who didn’t take no for an answer. Due to dragons practically bullying King Sulfur from the throne, Sunstone put her foot down and set everyone straight. She was confident in her abilities as queen to make sure her kingdom was how she wanted it to be. Nonetheless nothing interesting happened during her time as queen. Sunstone fell in love with one of Sulfur’s siblings and produced an heir. Sulfur was fine with this as long as he and Sunstone remained friends. Sunstone’s rule started at the age of 97 and she died peacefully at the age of 263.

Monarch Snail was a well-loved, and kind Crystalsilex. Their scales are a teal with brown and orange markings scattered along their body. Snail was often wearing jewelry made of gold. The reason as to why they were so loved is because they often held parties and festivals for the tribe. This included art, music, digging and among other things. It helped the tribe greatly in the long run. It brought everyone together for fun times and will be remembered for centuries to come. Snail started their rule at the age of 98 and died at the age of 246. 3

King Swiftlet was a lithe, green and white Crystalsilex who was a thrill-seeker. He often was seen out exploring the mountain terrain to see how high he could fly. He was filled with a child-like wonder and could not sit still. At the age of 223, he was paralyzed from the waist down, so he was forced to stay in the palace and rule from the throne. He started ruling at the age of 142 and ended at the age of 260.This makes him have the shortest rule in Crystalsilex history.

Monarch Cricket was a deep brown and gold dragon with tan flecks who very often got their talons dirty to help build and dig homes for the tribe. Cricket was a well-loved Crystalsilex and in their annual Crystaling Eclipse festival, the monarch met their husband, Alabaster. The two joined together to help the tribe with hard labor duties and eventually had a child named Bloodstone. Cricket ruled from the age of 119 and later died at the age of 273.

King Bloodstone was a FtM Crystalsilex, who was a kind and helpful ruler who followed in his parent's footsteps. His scales were a mix of black and red. To his parent's dismay, Bloodstone’s healing magic was probably one of the strongest of his generation. Due to this, he went around helping and healing the dragons of both Crystalsilex and Eclipseviator. During a visit to the Eclispeviator kingdom, Bloodstone met a dragon named Ursa. The two seemed to instantly have a connection and met in secret for years. It was rumored they had a dragonet, but it was never confirmed. The two eventually parted ways because they thought it was best. Bloodstone later met a Crystalsilex named Agate and the two stayed together for as long as anyone could remember. They had a child named Amethyst! Agate had died years before Bloodstone. King Bloodstone ruled from the age of 129 and died at the age of 254.

Queen Amethyst is the current ruler of the Crystalsilex.
Amethyst has purple and tan scales. She has a lot to live up to due to her parents and grandparents due to stories. Amethyst escapes the expectations by going through the Asralons portal to spy on the tribes who live there. Thinking she had enough information, Amethyst returned to her kingdom and later met a Crystalsilex named Aura. The two started a family of three. Obsidian, Bassalt and Flowstone. While on a family outing, a Wintervellus escapee had stalked and attacked Aura and Flowstone. Amethyst realized too late that the Wintervellus attacked and her husband and third child suffered from fatal injuries. Obsidian and Bassalt were told to run as Amethyst fought off the attacker but not without many scars. Aura and Flowstone died shortly after they were rushed back to the castle. Queen Amethyst started her rule at the age of 94 and is still ruling to this day. Her current age is 134

The Crystaling Eclipse is a festival hosted every 6 months in the Prosperitas. This festival is full of joy and thrill, shared between the two dragon tribes that remain in the Prosperitas! There is a bunch of competitions hosted in the arena, a huge vendor area, and an overall huge party over the alliance between the Crystalsilex and Eclipseviators. This festival lasts for about a week and it rotates from being within Crystalsilex territory to Eclipseviator territory. There is also a huge feast at the end of the week where any dragon from the two tribes can participate. The drawing below shows the icon normally used for the celebration- there is banners around the festival's hosting area and on the vendors' shops of this logo. Whenever you see this logo in the Prosperitas, you know that there is going to be a fantastic party coming up!
