Baroness Roberta McMorland, OL, OP

I have been a scribe in the SCA for over 30 years, in 4 kingdoms. I am still learning new things. I have had the pleasure of hosting our monthly scribal meeting, for many years. I love sharing my scribal toys. I do calligraphy and illumination and dabble in book binding. My pipe dream is to do a small girdle book for myself - a history of me in the SCA.

I will never claim to know everything about C&I or that my way is the "right" way, but I will gladly show you how I do things.

I will shamelessly twist arms to encourage people to teach or mentor for the scholas that come along. If you need something printed, I have access to a high-end production printer. Class handouts should always be abundant.

*Baroness Roberta is the head of the Scribal Group for Thescorre and can be reached using the link provided below:

Baron Eldjarn the Thoughtful

I have been learning and practicing scribal activities in SCA since 2002. I can do illumination, calligraphy, and wordsmithing. I've taken classes on bookbinding, but do not practice.

At present, physical issues limit my ability to do much C & I. Though I am happy to offer what advice, tips, or support I can. Hopefully, some day soon I'll be able to return to greater productivity with illumination and calligraphy – it is SO much fun! In the mean time, I am pleased to contribute in any way I can via wordsmithing. =)
