Ann Eliza (Eliza or Liz) was born at Ardleigh on 15 February 1844. After her father’s death in 1869 she lodged with her aunt and uncle, Emma and Charles Stokes, bakers, of 40 Exmouth Street, Clerkenwell, where she was in 1871. She returned to Ardleigh where she died in 1882, unmarried, aged thirty-eight.
