Mahmood's curatorial projects investigate experimental, collaborative and contemporary developments, focusing on different aspects of art, emphasising practices that decimate boundaries. From examining the complexities of the human condition to the social and political landscape, a major part of her practice is the focus on research and analysis of artistic value.Sara is a curator, visual artist, a faculty member at the Department of Fine Art at Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture and currently the curator of the IVS Gallery. She continues to work on her independent curatorial projects in private and public spaces, including shows at Canvas Gallery, VM Gallery, IVS Gallery and the Colombo Biennale 2016
