Passage To Tranquility
True transformation begins with the intuition that the mind is the substratum of our entire existence. From this vantage point, we realize that enlightenment is not a distant goal to be reached, but a natural state that is simply buried. To become enlightened, we need only remove the 'illusion of non-enlightenment.' Yet, this illusion is far more complex than we often realize.
A profound tranquility takes hold when we recognize that every being on this planet is an actor upon the stage we call life. What we see before us is merely the 'lower reality.' While the stage and the actor are real, they are only fragments of a much larger truth. Just as an actor has a life beyond the theater, there is a higher reality that exists beyond our five senses. To reach a state of absolute peace, of true oneness, we must learn to stop choosing one over the other. We must recognize both the lower and the higher realities as the two vital parts of a single, magnificent whole.
Tranquility exists entirely outside the sphere of the five senses. When we attempt to dissect this state using the limited tools of our physical reality, it feels illogical and confusing. By trying to fit peace into a human box, we restrict its power. However, when you understand the fundamentals of your own mind, tranquility becomes 'super-logical.' It is the simple, profound act of letting go of preconceived notions and worldly ideologies to simply be.
Many seek this peace through the structure of religion. While religion can be a beautiful compass, it often carries obstacles that hinder the true journey. Many institutions become closed-minded or judgmental, claiming to hold a monopoly on the truth while their followers fail to live out the very doctrines they profess. This often results in a 'sheeple effect,' where children blindly inherit the religion of their parents without any personal understanding. They follow the path not out of conviction, but out of habit. To reach the higher reality, one must stop following blindly and start seeing clearly.
Before you take a stand on what you believe, be certain you understand exactly what you are affirming. A creed is more than a tradition; it is a system of faith meant to guide every action you take. In truth, to take the Lord’s name in vain is to claim the path of the Great I Am while living a life that contradicts His light—it is the definition of hypocrisy.
If you claim a faith, ensure your actions mirror your confession. A belief is not a hollow statement; it is the reflection of the soul. Do not follow the 'sheeple' into blind inheritance; instead, search out the truth until you know it for yourself. Once your beliefs are rooted in understanding, be steadfast. If you choose religion as your path to tranquility, be the embodiment of that faith. When your actions finally align with your heart, the universe will begin to flow through you without obstruction.
Philosophy offers another gateway to tranquility—the disciplined use of reason to seek truth. While it is a noble path, it possesses its own unique pitfalls. Many philosophers become so consumed by the hunt for 'higher meaning' that they overlook the obvious truths standing right in front of them. In their quest for complexity, they dismiss the simple as 'unenlightened,' stumbling over the answers because they expected them to be more convoluted. If you use philosophy to reach this state, reason through what is rational, but do not attempt to force a human explanation onto the inexplicable. To do so is to risk losing the very tranquility you have gained.
The ultimate state of peace is achieved when you master both approaches. Rationalize the 'variables' you can understand, then let go and apply faith to the things that defy explanation. A vital part of tranquility is inexplicable because it vibrates outside the sphere of the five senses. You can attempt to dissect the infinite all you want, but you will never find a 'reasonable' human answer. There is no worldly answer for a reality that is not worldly.
No two lives are the same; each is a diamond in the rough, possesssing countless unique facets. What serves one soul may not serve another, and to follow the crowd blindly is to cheat yourself of your own story. The only path to true peace is to relentlessly search out what you think, know, and believe. Personally, I follow no human religion. I anchor myself in basic Biblical principles and then rationalize them through study and prayer, trusting that Yahusha will lead me precisely where I need to go. With every passage I read and every truth I uncover, I change. I call this the process of refining the self.
I am also a philosopher. I am driven to understand the 'why,' the 'how,' and the 'what' behind every question. I thrive on abstract knowledge and the formation of a thesis, relying on understanding rather than blind acceptance. However, when faith and philosophy are used in conjunction, a new plateau is opened. Instead of merely hoping things work out, or obsessively trying to figure out how they will, you gain the ability to comprehend the world you see while applying faith to the world you cannot. This state of tranquility is a profound realization: it is the act of searching for your own answers while trusting in a Higher Guide. It is to understand yourself, and thereby the world, being content with today while constantly refining yourself for tomorrow. It is to Nosce Te Ipsum, or know thyself.
The roots of all human sorrow are found in greed, lust, and the heavy weight of jealousy. True liberation begins when you release these burdens and accept the reality of who you are and what life truly is. It is irrelevant whether you keep pace with your neighbors or your friends; the only journey that matters is the one you take within yourself. To inhabit this state of being, we must embrace a divine paradox: we must realize we know nothing to finally understand everything.
Enlightenment is the act of clearing the mind’s hard drive—deleting the prejudices, cultural programming, and worldly fears that cloud our vision. Once emptied of these 'voids,' you can fill yourself with the willingness to see the universe from every possible angle. This is the foundation of tranquility. When you let go of your preconceived notions, the world ceases to be a series of obstacles and becomes a vast stage interconnected with infinite possibilities. You realize that every soul is a vital thread in the Cosmic Quilt. By connecting back to this universal energy, you become a beacon, seeing the world through spiritual eyes rather than worldly ones. Race, status, and background dissolve into the background of the stage, allowing you to look directly into the hearts of those around you and see what is truly real.
Once you look through spiritual eyes, you realize that we are all profoundly interconnected, a collective tapestry woven into a universal story called Love. While each of us is an actor with many facets telling a personal story, it takes every soul on the stage to complete the grand narrative. When you grasp this truth, you begin to see the 'Ripple Effect.' No meeting is accidental; every person you encounter intertwines with your frequency, influencing your story just as you influence theirs.
As your scope widens, you see how this resonance spreads outward, touching more and more lives. If you reach into one person’s life with a spark of goodness, that light is carried forward to twenty more, and from those twenty to hundreds. This understanding allows you to set your sights on higher, celestial goals. Instead of feeding the lower frequencies of fear or sadness, you choose to broadcast happiness and love. Through a single, deliberate act of kindness, you don't just help one person, you send a wave of transformation across a vast sea of souls.
On a universal scale, the hierarchy of man collapses; no one is truly better than another. We simply each dance to the rhythm of a different drummer. Financial status and social clout are merely shadows that serve the ego on this small planet, but they hold no weight in the infinite. To reach tranquility, you must look past the surface; past the beauty, the wealth, and the earthly accomplishments, and gaze directly into the soul. The essence you find there is the only thing transferable from this life. If you find gold within your spirit, you are truly wealthy; but if you find only emptiness, then all the gold on the outside cannot save you from having nothing.
The state of tranquility is realized when we achieve a total union with nature, the universal energy, and the rhythm of all existence. It is a profound self-awakening. A moment where you cease to be a solitary actor and become one with the universe, finding a peace that is unshakeable. To reach this state is to look past the 'Cosmic Illusion' and perceive the universe as a unified whole. It is the mastery of having without possessing, acting without expecting, and leading without the need for control.
In this state, you observe the world with clarity, trusting in your inner self and the Great I Am to guide your steps. You participate in the play with all your heart, yet you never forget that the world is indeed a stage. This passage to tranquility does not lead outward to the horizon, but inward to the core. It has always been within you, waiting in the silence; you simply had to clear the unmask the illusion to find it.
