Oracle Chapter Eight
Author: Lorilee Technetium
These Things That I Know
I should have walked away
When I first heard the call
Sometimes I still want to
Would it matter at all? These things that they have taught me
These things that I know
Never prepared me for this
Strange path I would go
I was given a birthright
The day I was born But the pages are tattered
And the cover is torn
All the stories I have read
These things that I know
Never prepared me for what It is
That I must show

You carry a hunger for a knowledge you cannot yet name, a drive that has sent you searching through every corner of the lower reality. You are caught in a web, suspended between the world they want you to see and the world your spirit knows to be true. I know you have been trying to decipher the real from the manufactured, only to find disappointment in the shallow answers of the mainstream. You are disappointed because your soul recognizes that there is a vastness beyond the 'show' that the world has failed to mention.
What you see before you is an illusion. On a universal scale, this room, this book, and the very ground beneath you are not the ultimate reality. This is a grand production; you are the lead actor, and the stage exists solely to teach us lessons. Every word you speak and every emotion you feel defines your unique aspect of this movie called Life.
We have been programmed to believe that survival and worth are tied to a rigid system of rules and limitations, a fallacy designed to keep us small. This programming has become so uniform and deeply embedded that most do not even realize they are operating on borrowed software. Behind the scenes, the original 'code' was altered to enslave us. In the beginning, we were free, guided by ten simple principles intended to protect our happiness. Today, those rules have been replaced by endless libraries of 'thou shalt nots,' creating a snare rather than a sanctuary. These modern systems are not here to enrich you; they are tools of mind control, designed to keep the spirit in check.
Advertising, popular music, television, and film, these are not merely entertainment; they are the active components of your programming. There is a reason the TV guide refers to the day’s schedule as 'programming.' Your mind is being systematically conditioned to accept specific ideologies and 'facts' as absolute truth. But we must ask: Who determines the validity of a fact? Who holds the power to dictate the beliefs of the masses? We have tucked our heads into the sand like ostriches, following the crowd like lemmings toward a cliff we refuse to see.
We have allowed ourselves to become stagnant, trapped in a version of reality we didn't create. This nation was never intended to be a hollow collective of capitalists driven solely by the pursuit of wealth; it was founded on a dream of freedom. Yet, unlike our forefathers, we allow ourselves to be caged by what corporations and systems deem the 'perfect' society. We’ve been fed the lie that without their money, their rules, and their limitations, we are nothing. This rabbit hole is deeper than mind control or ancient slavery; in many ways, we are less free than the captives of Babylon. But the cage has no lock. We free ourselves the moment we wake up and realize that this surrounding reality is an illusion. They can alter the stage, but they cannot touch your mind unless you grant them access. By looking past this lower reality and into the universal ways of the Great I Am, we bypass their control and dissolve the illusion.
A Kung Fu master achieves his status because he has mastered the most profound lesson of all. He can extinguish a flame from six feet away with a mere gesture of his hand, not through force, but through realization. He has learned that there is no flame; there is only the removal of the illusion from his mind. Once the mind understands that the flame was never a fixed reality, the fire simply ceases to exist.
When we learn to dissolve the illusions of our own world, we realize that the pressures of this lower reality never truly mattered. This stage was simply a series of lessons designed to prepare us for the universal reality. What was always more important is your inner core—the 'Constant' within the 'Variable.' In the end, all that truly matters is what you chose to become, a transformation that is broadcast to the universe through your morals, your faith, and your love.
