I started at my freshman year at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in the fall of 2016. I am a part of both the Computer Science/Software Engineering (CSSE) and the Electrical/Computer Engineering (ECE) departments, studying both Software engineering and Computer Engineering, along with a Multidisciplinary Minor in Robotics. Even with my double major and minor, I have put together a plan that will let me graduate with my fellow classmates in the May of 2020!
Many of my CSSE and ECE courses will either have us complete labs during certain blocks of lab time or group projects that are due near midterms and finals. Many of these projects are group projects that put to the test the material we learn over the course of the 10-week long quarter. Oftentimes, these final projects help up prepare for the final exams we have the next week; sometimes, the project will even replace the final.
I had never done much individual work in high school, so transitioning to large projects pertaining to my majors while working with others was a bit of a challenge for me at first. After a year of college, I have gotten much better at communication and teamwork, and my technical skills have also improved. Projects can be found under the "College Projects" tab on the top of this page. Enjoy!
