I am The MIXR (Jason Watson), a highly experienced audio engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and your partner in creating unforgettable records.

I started playing in bands when I was 15.  I was inspired by bands like Nirvana, Green Day (who were blowing up), Foo Fighters had just emerged, Pennywise was firing hard, along with bands like NOFX and many more.  It was a magical time.  Truth is, that magic has followed me throughout my life, which leads me to this point now.  

For me, music isn't just my job; it is my life's passion. I specialize in mixing and mastering, turning raw studio tracks into powerful, release-ready sonic experiences. Having spent years refining my craft, I understand exactly what it takes to make a record stand out.

From the Stage to the Studio

My deep understanding of sound comes from being a musician myself. Playing bass, drums, and guitar gives me a unique perspective behind the mixing console. I don't just look at waveforms; I connect with the rhythm, the arrangement, and the emotional core of your music. I know how instruments should interact because I play them.
