Memorable Moments from her childhood
Jung Ja's journey through life began in Gyeongsangbuk Dong Yongjoo Shi, but she embarked on a transformative journey during her junior year of high school when she moved to Seoul. One of the most treasured chapters of her past revolves around her high school years. Even now, she fondly reminisces about the close friendships she cultivated during that period, the friends who inevitably went their separate ways as they pursued higher education. However, a defining childhood memory harks back to her 5th-grade adventure when she embarked on a trip to Busan with her uncle. During this train journey, a seemingly ordinary stop for udon took an unexpected turn, leaving her alone on the train without a ticket. Her uncle couldn't reboard, holding onto their tickets, and young Jung Ja found herself in a daunting situation. Overwhelmed and frightened, she began to cry. Fortunately, the compassionate train workers came to her aid when she disembarked. They provided her with food and a place to rest until she could reconnect with her father, who was in Busan for work. The memory of the kind train operator who came to her rescue during her moment of panic remains etched in her heart.
Dreams as a child
In her formative years, Jung Ja nurtured dreams of becoming a writer, a passion kindled by her deep love for books. Her voracious reading habit inspired her to envision crafting literary works that could captivate readers just as the authors of her beloved books had captivated her. This dream led her to write several works, even earning her the nickname 'sosulgwa' among her friends, a testament to her unwavering dedication to the art of writing.
How does she define happiness
Throughout her childhood, her parents were a wellspring of happiness and support. Jung Ja was an exceptionally bright student who consistently ranked among the top performers in national exams, garnering praise and admiration from her parents and grandparents. However, as she has grown older, her definition of happiness has evolved. Today, she finds fulfillment in witnessing her children and grandchildren tread their own paths, pursuing their dreams and passions in life.
