Registration for the TMMA Annual Music Scholarships have opened for 2025. Registrations began early in February and will remain open through the first week of March. These scholarships are a great way to begin a musical journey at a very reduced cost. Applicants pay just 25% of their fee for one year. The scholarship takes care of 75% of the fees.

The year-long training comprises music theory, practical, and examination components. Practical training in 2025 will be focused on woodwind (flute, and clarinet) and strings (viola and cello). This is will be deviation from the popular keyboard and violin. It is hoped that the program will build a new  generation of young and vibrant music teachers and performers. Some beneficiaries of previous scholarships have gained employment at the academy, others, in schools as music teachers. 

The management of TMMA strongly encourages youths in Calabar, Cross River State, and environs to make use of this great opportunity to empower themselves and others. 

Music creates economic empowerment and opens many doors.
