THE LIFE OF A
PREHISTORIC ANIMAL
Hello there!
The Life of a Prehistoric Animal is a work-in-progress art project focused on the life of nine different species of prehistoric animals, depicted in a comicbook or storyboard format. The depiction of each creature, as well as the environment they lived in, and their lifestyle is meant to be reconstructed as accurately as possible, while giving credit to healthy speculation on the prehistoric world.
We will go back over 180 million years into the past, and progressively move towards the present. In the meantime, we will see how giant reptiles started out small during the Jurassic period, witness the unforgiving life of small dinosaurs during the Cretaceous period, and observe how Cenozoic mammals reproduce and take care of their young, before they meet their ultimate end.
In an effort to constantly battle the impending threat of extinction, each of these protagonists will be birthed into an alien world and we will accompany them in their struggles as they grow towards adulthood, see them breed and ultimately meet their final days as formidable creatures of our Earth's past.
Let us be welcomed to the life of a prehistoric animal.
