Jo Bressloff Fine Artist and Artist Educator

The interface of sea, land and city scapes in Southampton has inspired Jo to create a series of observational drawings of Southampton Water from Netley Beach looking across to Fawley, Hythe and the Port.

Returning to similar viewing points along Weston Shore, Jo walks, observes, collects natural and manmade objects from the beach and finally she draws the panoramic scene.

In her studio space, Jo has been exploring how to translate these observations and found objects into wire, plaster, painted and stitched sculptures.
