Jacqueline Rolls is a mixed media artist and sculptor who creates with natural and mixed media materials. She is known for her work with willow, which she uses to create natural and abstract forms, as well as animals and birds.

In recent years her focus has been on offering workshops, art engagement and well-being projects, creating bespoke public artworks under her business name Willow and Crafts, and focusing, experimenting and creating in different environments.

She considers herself fortunate to have received support to take time out to develop her own practice through several bursaries and grants. These included a bursary from ‘a space’ Art in 2019, which enabled her to develop a self-supported residency at Furzey Gardens in the New Forest.

In the autumn of 2021 she received Arts Council Developing Your Creative Practice funding which enabled her to undertake a 10-month artist residency at Tudor House, Museum and Gardens in Southampton, several of her works are still on display at the museum.

Jacqueline is a member of the Heritage Crafts Association, the Basket-makers Association, and The Wessex Guild of Craftsmen.
