Earth Without Art
What is the earth without ART?
A mere mechanized counterpart.
What is creation without a muse?
A shallow replication- bruised and abused.
What is the mind without its visions?
A black box battling with monotonous precision.
What are the hands without the power of the pen, the stroke of the brush?
A pair of forceps in an eternal rush.
Perhaps the age has turned the tide,
The tide towards a soulless surge
Perhaps the world needs a gentle embrace of memory,
To return the hues to the heart; to cradle the consciousness again.
