Ice barrier allow extreme modulation, you can make Synchro 6 or 8 without using your Normal Summon thanks to Swap Frog and Magic Master. You can foolish Magic Master and Search Freezing Chains to Summon him back and make Toad or a Synchro. While the engine does provide good rewards it also comes with high risk, it's easely impacted by Ash Blossom, which is very common and on top of that it's really ressources heavy because you need to discard a WATER monster and Ghoti does not like to discard at all and if it wasn't enough Magic Master not only WATER lock you but also Synchro lock.
Impact :
No Normals : Doesn't use your Normal Summon
Raise the Ceilling : Offer better maxiumum potential to the Deck
High Modulation : Magic Master not only allow you to access Level 6 but also Level 8 Synchro
Alternative Use : Can make Toad without passing by Bahamut Shark thus saving 1 ED Slot
Under 5 Summons : This engine cannot be hitted by Nibiru
Bad Synergy : Not Fish which means can't fuel Psiic or Snopios
Heavy Lock : If you activate Magic Master effect you are not only WATER locked but also Synchro locked reducing even more your options
Ash magnet : Can easely be stopped by Ash Blossom
Heavy Cost : Discarding in any way in Ghoti is bad
You discard a WATER monster with Swap Frog who will then foolish Magic Master to the GY. Magic Master add Freezing chains to your hand and Freezing Chains Special Summon Magic Master from your GY on activation. From there you either activate Magic Master effect to make Synchros or go for XYZ Toad.
I discard a WATER to SS Swap Frog and he will foolish Magic Master
Magic Master search Freezing Chains and Freezing Chains SS Magic Master
I can use Magic Master Effect to summon tokens or make Toad
Notes :
If your hand is full of engine making Toadally Awesome is more profitable to have an omni-negate on the field
Minimal engine require to be coupled with another engine to work proprely (Horus is one of them)
