Season 55
A little while ago another owner in the other world that I commish provided me with a way to make my Wins Above Replacement calculations not only park-adjusted but also position-adjusted, so no longer will 1B's with a lot of "plus" plays be given an unfair advantage over SS'es with a lot of "minus" plays when it comes to the defensive portion of the WAR stat. Below you will find the final WAR totals for all of the end of year awards candidates using the new system (and I am currently working on calculating career totals for a number of players using the new system as well...but that's a topic for another day.) Here is how this year's ballot looks:
