This particular predator, though in an exceptionally subtle, low key manner, is beginning to betray unquestionable glimpses of his perceived (and entirely likely) intellectual superiority, and the resulting contempt or distaste one might feel towards an opponent who is going to be vanquished with such ease, the excitement of the (now, not) impending challenge is lost.
