What brings your team together toward a common goal?
We here at The Ethnographic Eater believe that making sure all voices are heard is key in making a team really come together.
In order to make sure all voices are heard, we have opened up voice messages on our Anchor FM platform!
We would like to hear your opinions, commentary, and questions. When you submit any of those to us, you're not just an audience member, you're also a part of our team!
Our current team consists of one host, a few educators, and a few experts from various food-related fields.
Meet the team
We have so many people to welcome! The following people are leaders in their community, Masters students, PhD's, gardeners, canning masters, food enthusiasts, Chefs, restaurant owners, authors, and Anthropologists.
With the help of these wonderful humans, the podcast has been brought to life!
You will hear their voices all throughout the series, so we wanted to give them thanks, as well as a way for you to reach out to them.
Click on any of our team members' photos to find out more about them, and their line of work.

Christophe Dubois
I graduated from the ITHQ in 2014 in the restaurant management program. From 2013 to 2018,
I worked at LiliCo restaurant where I trained in cooking under chef David Pellizzari. I was able to
acquire relevant culinary training, which allowed me to work abroad, notably in Sri Lanka as a
consulting chef and in Slovenia as a cook in outdoor yoga retreats. Through these experiences, I
was able to learn and broaden my horizons. I also realized the importance of getting involved in
one's community, which is why I turned to social work to start a new career. Since 2016, I have
been primarily involved in the Parc-Extension neighborhood in Montreal, where I practice
different social gastronomy activities in the hope of contributing to a sustainable and consistent
social transformation with the different communities in the area.
I am also a board member of Cuisiniers Sans Frontière since 2015, a founding member of the
Parti Culinaire du Québec, and a member of the Social Gastronomy Movement. I am currently
completing a master's degree in social work on social gastronomy and I am a student member of
the Centre de Recherche sur les Innovations Sociale at UQAM. I am also working on a research
project on food in Montreal-Nord with the non-profit organization Parole d'excluEs.
