REINDEERS: Who is California Valley?!
CALIFORNIA VALLEY: I'm California Valley, but most know me as Cali. I've been playing HEE for over 4 years now. My current focus in the game is rated SH with color, although as much as I try to avoid it, I do dabble in a bit of everything. Not only am I a mod, I'm also a part of the afternoon trivia team. I do a bit of art and palette making as well. Outside of HEE, I am a mother to a 1 year old son and several furbabies, including 3 huskies, 3 horses, and 2 cats.
REIN: What made you think about applying to become a moderator?
CALI: At first I wasn't even going to apply to be a mod haha. But the main reason I went through with the application is because I enjoy helping others. It's something I've always loved doing. As a mod I not only get to help Eve, I get to help the rest of the community. Other reasons included already knowing the art rules on HEE, which is important seeing as mods have to approve plenty of art each day, and I have a pretty good grasp on how the game works since I've spent so much time on the site lol. But like I said, the main reason was having the opportunity to just help out.
REIN: What motivates you, whether that's to log onto HEE or moderate/trivia?
CALI: Honestly the community is what motivates me to log on every day and to moderate and host trivia. The players on HEE are awesome and so kind. Not to mention the wacky conversations that go on in the game and trivia chats!
REIN: What do you consider your proudest HEE achievement to be??
CALI: My proudest HEE achievement is honestly really hard for me to decide. I don't think I could choose just one. I'll always be proud of the day I bred an EWE TB stallion with tobiano and rabicano back when the world class rating was still new. Then there was the day I joined the trivia team, I'll always be proud of that as well. More recently, however, my proudest achievements would probably be breeding my first two WWWs and then of course becoming a mod.
REIN: What would you want to accomplish in the first 30/31 days of being a moderator?
CALI: Well I'd like to accomplish these new mod buttons! It's taken a bit of time to adjust to them, especially the chat ones since I tend to accidentally press them every so often. But if we're being serious, within the first month I would like to be able to assist everyone that comes to me for help. I'm here to make sure there aren't any problems and help players when needed after all.
