Fact: Dakna is the favorite child. (Locations > Facci > Dakna)
Egania
Links:
Inhabitants: Egonan
Language(s): Alrish, Galactic Common
Inhabitant Traits: Known for their longevity and frailty
The center and leader of the alliance of planets in Ganiia named the "Eganian Confederation" in recognition for the Eganian peoples' dedication to galactic unification. Known for their high-tech cities and near-utopian world.
Old Egania: Previous home and planet of the Eganian civilization, vacated due to irreparable climate change and natural disasters caused by the inhabitants. Repurposed in the building of modern Egania, which now orbits their star, Metus, as a type of Dyson ring.
Major Cities:
Egania City (capital) - It boasts a dense population and lowest crime rates in the universe. Many buildings are immense skyscrapers that extend both upwards and underground. A largely governmental city, hosts Galaetus every few years.
Laksha - Known for its vibrant parties and celebrations. Arts district.
Dalis - Partially underground. Mainly a suburban residential area.
Wevia - An expansive business district.
Egania possesses colonial settlements on planets/moons Orase and Tinalua.
Lekon

Inhabitants: Lanesse
Language(s): Yuner, Galactic Common
Inhabitant Traits: Sees a wider spectrum of light, except for the color purple
The scientific hotspot of the galaxy, Lekon is a country/planet run by scientists. Working closely with Egania, the Lekonian Scientists Association takes charge of handling a majority of the EC's major issues as well as advancing the scientific world at a pace never seen before.
Each major city is run by a different department of sciences, funded by the government of Lekon as well as the EC. The general populace that lives within an academic city is usually associated with the research conducted there in some way, and others life in smaller towns surrounded the major cities.
Major Cities:
Helika (capital) - The city is built around the Lekonian Scientists Association HQ in a circular fashion, and up to date technology is used in the planned city.
Marin - Department of Atomic Sciences - A small tundra town consisting of settlements peppered across the land. The HQ of AtoSci is underground in an expansive cave system to minimize the possible effects on living beings from any accidents.
Rucca - Department of Biological Sciences - A heavily forested area with buildings interwoven with nature. The BioSci HQ is a large structure suspended in the trees, a pride to the scientists involved in its creation. Most structures in Rucca are in suspension, increasing the safety from wild animals and floods, but also making the terrain difficult to navigate for those unfamiliar with the land.
Gauere - Department of Chemical Sciences - Gauere is mainly plains and fields, where many farmers live. It is also conveniently located near other types of terrain including forests and the beach, allowing for easy access. As labs are often required to be sterile, the HQ of ChemSci is surrounded by high levels of security. It is also a low but wide bilding to minimize effects of disasters. The settlements within Gauere is separated from the ChemSci HQ, and is built in a circular fashion meant to maximize transportation. The locals boast the weather conditions of the area. Made fun of by other departments for their bland office building looking laboratories.
Tiraj - Department of Mechanical Sciences - An urban city consisting of many factories, but also a decent amount of residential areas. The city itself highly values its greenery despite the high population, and much of the architecture is built around pre-existing natural life.
Saeté - Department of Physical Sciences - Desert land without much plant or animal life, besides the occasional smaller animals and cacti. The PhySci HQ is a large and tall structure and is built with the intention of minimizing light pollution. The city of Saeté is separated from other settlements for a similar reason. Saeté has a very small population, as the land itself is not as habitable.
Other cities: Anae, Gvina, Honen, Junq, Laku, Saran
Terra
Inhabitants: Human

Inhabitant Traits: Limited regenerative abilities
A dry and rocky planet in Solar, Granil is currently at death risk (the planet is dying). Its inhabitants mainly live in valleys and caverns to find shelter from the sun, the planet primarily exports salts and metals harvested from its dried up ocean floors.
The population is greatly reliant on imports from the EC, the world leaders are considering relocating the population to various colonial settlements before it is too late.
Major Cities:
Gerne (capital) - Located in the valleys on the edge of the northeastern Salt Plains, Gerne has the largest population of all cities on Granil.
Polnad - A northeastern city known for its year round frosty weather and beautiful night skies.
Yeana - Second most populated city located along the Irshar river.
Delarian - A city dug into a crater in the southern hemisphere, made up of largely residential districts. Region known for particularly harsh weather conditions.
Naava
Links:
Inhabitants: Igati
Language(s): Jahara, Galactic Common
Inhabitant Traits: Enhanced underwater sight, partial ability to breathe underwater through gills
A rocky planet submerged in shallow, warm waters. Its inhabitants live on floating platforms made of natural plants, and support their selves by diving into the oceans to gather food and supplies.
Generally split up by territories belonging to various ethnic groups.
Major Cities:
Sansii (planet capital) - Mukash territories - Located in the Indu archipelago, serves as a dock for many houseboats. After being named the official capital of Naava, many merchants have flocked here to profit.
Buluru (territorial capital) - Isanka territories - Smaller settlements on the tundra of the northern continent, the semi-nomadic Isanka peoples sustained by herding roryok (animal) and fishing along the coast.
Maya - Salag territories - Primarily made up of houseboats docked in shallow water, lifestyle is sustained by fishing and trade with nearby Mukash and Nenga peoples.
Leya - not affiliated with territories - A synthetic city of Naava formed of houseboats and larger foreign vessels within the last 150 years. Established for the research of the mysterious Shaina Crater.
Tenotill - Nenga territories - Located on the southern continent, lifestyle is supported by coastal fishing, farming, herding of roryok, and trade with the Mukash and Salag peoples.
Hiwan
Inhabitants: Hani
Language(s): Galactic Common
Inhabitant Traits: ???
A market planet and considered a lawless land. Similar to Terra , it has low lying land surrounded by water. Many members of the EC possesses colonies here. Currently is overrun by The Alliance (terrorists) and is used as a home base.
The locals of Hiwan that haven't been proven to be sentient, therefore not qualifying as an Intelligent race. They appear somewhat humanoid but with longer lanky features and are often extremely short. They don't appear to be capable of communicating through speech, and their way of life is still a mystery to the scientists of the EC. Most life on the planet are refugees from other planets and the exiled.
Major Cities:

Inhabitants: "Nann"
Language(s): Maraha, Galactic common, various
(Adapted) Inhabitant Traits: Hereditary functional aniridia, heightened resistance against some toxins
A planet of eternal sandstorms. Its citizens live underground in a network of caves and tunnels. Very little is known about this planet by outsiders.
Actual insider info:
Due to its location being far from its star, the outside weather can drop very low. The thick clouds surrounding the planet causes it to be dark on the surface 24/7. The sand and gasses surrounding it can be toxic and/or harmful to inhabitants and visitors. There is constant volcanic activity which supplies warmth and power to civilization.
Contrary to what is believed by outsiders, Dakna's technology is advanced enough to rival even Egainia's. Civilization and signs of life exist solely underground. The people live in vast caverns, and due to the moist and rich soil, many unusual species of plants flourish. Everything is dimly lit by Dakna's luminescent plants. Buildings are frequently made of glass and metal, most buildings have very little windows to keep warm during colder seasons.
Dakna is the last remaining planet that possesses traces of ancient history of mankind's migration across the galaxy. This knowledge is commonplace among the general population, however is kept heavily guarded from outsiders.
Note:
The "nann" population is more of a label, and is an umbrella term for any who come to Dakna seeking a new home and haven from their past lives. This results in a heavily committed and humble, yet prideful community across the planet's caverns.
"Nann" can be a term for someone who has adapted to the living condition of the planet's caverns, and has the biological traits of a stereotypical nann. These people are typically from lineages who have been on Dakna from the "settlement" eras, and have been on the planet the longest. The "nann" traits are seen more as a spectrum, with families with the oldest linages having white hair and functional aniridia. Some have a mix of traits between "nann" and hereditary traits including human, igati, and granila.
Some choose to embody the "nann" stereotype though dying their hair and hiding their eyes, while some on the planet choose to stay as they are. The rest of the galaxy only knows of these white-haired recluses as mysterious and secretive, and leaves them their personal space.
Major Cities:
Nikan (capital) - One of the most heavily populated cities on the planet. Like many other cities, Nikan is centered about several large caverns supported by an elevator to the surface. Much illumination comes from the Light Layer (layer of bioluminescent plants just below the surface) above, as well as smaller bioluminescent plants.
Yanashan - A popular tourist destination, known for its tree-like rock formations and buildings carved into them.
Fashhu - Rural city.
Zyne
Genuinely called "Star System 3 (subject to change)" as it is a relatively new star system that was added to the EC. Officials are currently negotiating with the people of Baktle to come up with a name they like.
Baktle

Baktle - info
Inhabitants: Balek
Language(s): Erawo, Renva
Inhabitant Traits: Heightened strength
A tidally locked planet split along the terminal line by the river Certa. Known for its heavier gravity, most life here has evolved to proportionally fight against the severe heat/cold/gravity of the planet.
There are two major civilizations on either side of Certa, one facing the eternal heat of the star and the other the cold. Baktle is orbited by two satellites that are worshipped by the population, Ceila and Sausu. Their society bases itself around a numerical religion: a pantheon of six divinities deriving from a base eight counting system, number two, yu, being seen as a sacred number.
More on Baktle Religion here
The Balek people are still unfamiliar to the EC, leading to odd political tensions as well as misunderstandings.
Major Cities:
Uran (capital) - City of Baktle, located on the cold face of the planet. Most of the city is composed of business districts.
Tikum- A small town far from the Certa, cold year round due to its geographic position. (Mythia and Yashiya's hometown).
Khloe - A densely populated city along the southwestern floodplains near the terminal line.
