UPDATE 2/9/24: I'm completely reworking this so its going to be very different that what is written here :P
Basic plot outline, copy and pasted from my idea dump document by yours truly~~
(It doesn't make any sense and I apologize for that)
Note: some details/backstories have been omitted incase I actually publish this
TLDR: Silvik (scifi coffee shop owner/war survivor) has to take care of Mythia (random child), Pri'ilimus (sickly govt official), and Anhil (the sickly govt official's partner in crime) unwillingly. They somehow get involved in a galaxy-wide conspiracy. Let the chaos begin!
- Mythia wanders into Sil's shop, a sudden lockdown at the space port leads Silvik to have to run away before his id and store is inspected. But whoopsie daisy, Mythia was on the ship too...
- (separate occasion) Prilimus also wanders in, half starved and hurt. After is identity is revealed, he tells of a terrorist attack that had happened in Egainia. He had no choice but to run and wasn't able to use his id chip to buy anything in case it let out his location.
- an attendant from the Confederation arrives to retrieve Prilimus, but it happens to be Anton. Sil immediately recognizes him and Silvik's identity as a human is revealed. After Anton attempts to assassinate Prilimus, Anhil arrives and she and Silvik work together to save him. (Silvik gets semi-seriously injured but his stubborn ass decides that he'll be ok if he slapped a bandage on lmao) (edited)
- in order to get his false id chip touched up, Silvik and the gang go for a visit to Lekon to meet Lynson. (Suspicious behavior of the ppl around them + info dump about the world. Also uses the chance to introduce Vikia.)
- now with two freeloaders on his ship, they must make a stop at Hiwan, a trade planet. But the group meets a terrorist attack there, mostly targeting Prilimus. Silvik saves him once more, but in return takes a lot of damage. Prilimus, Anhil, and Mythia hurry him to a doctor that he said to take him to.
- the doctor is Jay, another former colleague and close friend of Sil. While treating the badly hurt Silvik, Jay tells the group a bit more about Silvik.
- after Silvik is mostly healed, Prilimus receives an urgent message about the commencing of Galaetus, a meeting of the Egainian councilors that occurs twice a year. But with the current situation, even Egainia has a chance of being dangerous. Anhil asks Silvik and Mythia to tag along to protect Prilimus.
- to avoid as much suspicion as possible, the two of them decide to enter Egainia as Prilimus' new bodyguards. They are sent to a two week program in advance of Galaetus to prove their abilities as someone worthy of saving the hint.
- in order to be able to pass the basic tests, Mythia asks Silvik to train him in hand to hand combat.
- there at Galaetus, the political situation in Egainia is explored along with the councilor's relationships. In the middle of the bi-yearly meeting, an urgent message comes through that a major rebellion has broken out on Baktle. Mythia is severely shocked.
- Baktle, where a rebellion had taken place shortly before the interference of the Egainian Confederation, had a unstable political situation. But with the interference from the terrorists (+Anton) the unpleasant situation had taken a turn for the worst. Mythia takes off for his homeland in a hurry and Sil/Pril/Anhil chases after him.
*Unfinished*
The Ego-Earth war (name still undecided) was a war between Egainia and Earth that had ended 4 years prior to the start of the story. The conflict lasted almost 20 years, and the starting cause was rather unclear. At first, Earth and Egainia simply had differing governing philosophies but the disagreements quickly grew hostile. When a meeting between Earth's leaders and the Egainian councilors took place, one of Earth's leaders were killed and led to the declaration of war.
Both sides of the decision to start a war were not thought through well, and some say that there was a third party pulling the strings behind the scenes...
Earth's forces:
Human conscript soldiers
Granila conscript soldiers

Egainia's forces:
Volunteer Egainian soldiers
Lekonian military

It is believed that before Naava was flooded with water, there was a woman named Anhilah. Anhilah claimed to be a messenger of God, and was able to wield god-like powers gathering her followers, they invaded the corrupted kingdom and took power. By doing so, Anhilah was granted the highest position in Naava. The people looked up to her and praised her like she was God. But there was a group of people who were upset with Anhilah coming to power. Men with such thoughts came together and assassinated Anhilah’s husband and only child. Devastated, Anhilah sought revenge. Seeing their leader in such a rage threw the entire planet into chaos, and more and more people joined the people who wanted Anhilah removed. Enraged and feeling betrayed, Anhilah attempted to destroy Naava.
A new messenger of the spirits appeared at this point in time, and prophesied the flooding of Naava. The people built rafts and prepared to preserve their civilization as the war against Anhilah went on. On the day of the flood, Anhilah mysteriously lost her powers. As the world flooded, Anhilah was left on land to drown as the Igati were able to evacuate.
Anhilah was believed to have jet black hair, and golden eyes that shined in the dark. After her death, she became known as the devil of destruction, and tall tales of her would be passed down the Igati as a story to scare the children.
