Working With Words - Planning Docs

I created these for a professional development session in grades 3 to 6. I think it is important to know specifically the curricular expectations of your grade level. For example, in grade 6 students are expected to know about synecdoche. Here are the specifics from the program of studies: "explain how metaphor, personification and synecdoche are used to create mood and mental images (2.2)" Synecdoche will show up on the Grade Six PAT in English Language Arts.
