Welcome !
We are so excited to have your children in our classroom this year! This is a time in your child’s life when they show more independence while increasing their creativity, cognitive and social skills. Our job, as teachers, is to provide your child endless learning opportunities based on their interests while learning skill to be successful, not only at school, but by building the foundation for success in our world. Although we think children’s cognitive learning is important, we believe children’s social and emotional health is key to their success. Creating a safe and reliable environment for your child is just the start of their advancements. Connection is key to any child’s triumph. We devote our time and energy in making sure your child feels safe and loved. We look forward to getting to know your child and making connections that lasts a lifetime!

Science-This center is all about exploration. Magnifying glasses, seashells, rocks, feathers, and other scientific materials are provided for the children to explore our ecosystems.
The PA Leaning Standards for Early Childhood Education will be our guidelines to set goals for the children.
Our learning this summer will incorporate all centers linked to a theme that may cover two weeks depending on the children’s interests and involvement in the activities.
Transition times can be difficult for children at this age. We do have strategies in place to ease the anxiety during transition times. We sing songs, play hand and counting games, play I Spy, and say chants during transitions. We have a class countdown to transitions to ease anxieties.
