MESRE Consultations
We are excited to announce an opportunity for in-person research and scholarship consultations during the meeting. As part of the Medical Education Scholarship, Research, and Evaluation (MESRE) subsection of the CGEA, we will be offering 30-minute consultation slots between 11am-12:45pm on April 4th in the "Empire" room at the conference hotel.
These consultations aim to provide support and guidance for those conducting scholarly projects in healthcare education. Whether you seek feedback on research design, methodology, data analysis, or any other aspect of your project, our team of experts is here to assist you. Please bring a short (2-3 minutes) summary of your study and one or two specific questions you would like to address during the consultation.
To schedule your consultation with MESRE and additional information, please contact Jeffrey Cheung, Jan Hanson and Rachel Moquin. You can also visit the registration desk during the conference for additional details and a sign-up sheet (if there are available slots).
Additionally, we are keen to connect with fellow CGEA members who may be interested in offering consultations or supporting other MESRE initiatives. If you are interested in contributing your expertise or would like to learn more about these opportunities, please feel free to reach out to us. We look forward to fruitful discussions and collaborations at the CGEA Regional Meeting.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS (IME and MERE)
Oral sessions are scheduled to each have four presentations per one-hour session. Please keep your oral presentation to a maximum of ten minutes, so that participants can have adequate time to ask questions after your presentation.
IME and MERE sessions will run concurrently on Thursday and Friday; primary presenters have received a specific time in their inbox as of mid-February. (This is tentative and may change, so check the schedule when it is available!)
Your session moderator will reach out to you once they have been assigned.
Email your PPTX file to the moderator and to Robert Treat by Monday, April 1 at 5 PM CDT so that it can be loaded on the laptop.
Provide your moderator with 1-2 questions to ask you about your presentation to help facilitate the discussion.

If you wish to present slides, bring your own laptop and arrive early for setup. The room will have a projector and a dongle for VGA, HDMI, or USB-C. There will also be a single podium microphone.
MEDICAL EDUCATION RESOURCE EXCHANGE
This session is intended to be an informal resource exchange. There is NO projector and NO microphone.
Bring 15 hard copies or digital copies (i.e., flash drives) of your resource to share with participants.

POSTERS:
The executive committee asks that you send an Adobe PDF of your poster to Tracey Taylor by Monday, April 1 at 5 pm CDT.
Poster boards will be 3 feet wide by 4 feet tall, in portrait style, so please be sure that your printed poster will fit on those dimensions.
Pushpins will be available for mounting.
Please hang posters as soon as possible when you arrive at the conference. (This gives our CGEA volunteer assessors the ability to view and assess posters at their convenience.)
Please be available at your poster for attendees to ask questions for one designated hour during the Thursday reception.
ODD NUMBER Posters (IME), 5-6 pm CDT
EVEN NUMBER Posters (MESRE), 6-7 pm CDT
