Of Land and Sea (March 3, 2019-TBD)
A highly controversial and considerably unethical series of books, the Of Land and Sea book series covers a blossoming romance between the marine biologist Dr. Mara Davis and the self described ambassador of the Arctic Tikos, Whisper. The first book explorers a world in which pescanguids such as azure tikos, arctic tikos, and leviathan hemots have long since been accepted as people and are treated as such and given rights afforded to human rights. But within the story, humans, arctic tikos, and azure tikos are at war with one another. And the arctic tiko male, Whisper, seeks to escape the confines of his strict tiko government and find refuge in the wild to live as a lone nomad. But during his escapade, he encounters Dr. Davis drowning. He springs to action, saving her life and bringing her to shore after her boat capsized. After a brief exchange between the two, they part ways, but only for a little while as they both feel compelled to see one another again. They meet at the same spot they met and, as is the case with low effort romantic novels, the two begin to develop feelings for one another over a long period of time of visiting one another. And as th plot progresses, they enter a relationship and hope their love can unite species and end the war between tiko and human. The following series of books continue this narrative to the point of repetition.
