How We Work
We are a small nonprofit which follows a lean management structure and is composed of seasoned people who are willing to share their talents pro bono. Each individual is assigned a coach to help that person assess themselves and their challenges and determine the best way to utilize all available resources. We partner with several charities that have efficient and effective service delivery modes to help deliver needed service. These are paid for by grants and donations. Each coach and individual perform an assessment and self-assessment of the change achieved, and the resources needed to complete a transformation. This allows individuals make a positive impact by sharing knowledge, talents and skills along with financial donations. Our small size is an asset to our mission because it allows for a diversity in who we can help, what types of assistance we offer and how quickly we can engage a plan of action.
Our Leadership Team
Each of the following officers are board members and are assigned to oversee the delivery and optimization of resources to ensure a transformation makes a difference.
James P. Mellody, our Founder and CEO is an accomplished, seasoned executive in the Pharmaceutical industry for the last 33 years where he oversaw Purchasing and Supply Chain activities for a top 10 Pharma company. During his career, James handled several new product launches and business expansions.
After being continually challenged and promoted in the pharmaceuticals and medical device business, he decided to retire in 2013. Since his retirement he has been spending his time working for charities such as St Vincent De Paul and recently formed a nonprofit corporation, The Butterfly Team, to assist the underserved women, men and minorities in Southwest Florida.
Maureen Rushalski, CFO, our CFO is an experienced real estate professional who also runs a small business Yes You Can Marketing, LLC which helps companies develop and use web marketing services. She has many years of experience helping individuals and small businesses build their brand and business on the internet.
Anne Barretta, Secretary, our Secretary is an experienced retail sales professional who has many years of retail sales and marketing experience.
