Homeroom (UOI)
In UOI, We chose our PYPX name (it took us a lot of time) but we were able to find it, and the name is The Battlefield! We researched our topic, media rivalry. We also researched about LOI 1, 2, and 3 in our UOI sessions. We spent the UOI classes, focusing on our PYPX's LOI, we had a hard time finding the sources for the LOI, but we were still able to finish it. -Aira
In UOI, we researched about our topic and our LOI 1, 2, 3 research. Our topic was kind of hard but at least we got it finished in the end. We were also struggling with our group name. It was once "peace with people" but we have changed it to "The Battlefield" which got approved by Ms. Priyanka. We had to make some central ideas and then we had to choose the one that makes more sense. Ms Priyanka, and Ms. Richel approved our chosen central idea. -Aliya
In UOI, we researched our topic, media rivalry. We had difficulty researching LOI 1, 2, and 3. But our teamwork made it! We also named our PYPX name. And it ended up being "The Battlefield". We were very proud of our group name. Researching was hard, but we tried our best and finished it! We felt very happy after finishing LOI 1, 2, and 3! As a result, we had so much effort doing it!-Ellie
In UOI we did the lines of inquiry, Central idea end we also researched. We researched about the lines of inquiry and we also research about media rivalry in broadcasting. We also use researched when we were making the book because we needed to find some ideas. We had to make two central ideas then eventually we had to choose one. -Erika
In UOI, we did our research of our topics. We did all of our LOI research (1, 2, 3) for our 3rd LOI, it was quite hard and we couldn't really find anything. But we found information in the end (we also paraphrased). In the UOI sessions. We were discussing about our central ideas. We finalized our *picked* central idea. We were struggling for our dear lives when looking for a good name for our group. (The battlefield) -Lori
Homeroom (Math)
In math, We made a survey of how people think about Media rivalry, We had to ask gr 9 to 11. And then after we finished, we looked through our survey answers and collected the info.We had to ask people from DP and since we were shy, we had difficulties asking a lot of people, but we survived! We made it into graphs and did our survey analysis. -Aira
In math, we made a survey about Media Rivalry and we made the survey for Grades 10 to 11. We went to the cafeteria at 12:50 and asked some grade 10s and 11s to answer our surveys. We faced some difficulties. I asked the most people because I was really confident. We got around 40-45 people to answer our surveys. It was so fun! -Aliya
In Math, we made questions for our survey. We went to the cafeteria and asked grade 10 and 11 to answer our survey. They kindly answered our survey. We had difficulties asking people but they talked to us first so we gained confidence. Around 50 people scanned our survey. We had so much fun! It was a new experience for us. Math In math we First made questions for the survey. Then we published it. Then we asked some people to do our survey. All together we had 49 responses. Then we made the survey analysis And put it on our blog. Overall our struggles were getting people to scan our survey -Erika

It was a mix of math and English, because we were talking to other people to scan our surveys. We were kind of struggling to talk to people, but then it was okay and we started talking to everyone we see. (which is how we got a LOT of people) -Lori
Homeroom (English)
In English, we wrote a short story for the lower grades until grade 5. We wrote about 2 siblings, and they both were naughty-naughty siblings. We are planning to publish it and put it in the PYP library. We made the story using word doc and story jumper. We made this book especially for lower grades and so that they can understand more deeply about how broadcasting can go. -Aira
In English, we decided to write a short story about broadcasting for the lower grades (grades 3-4) We had to divide our work. Erika designed the characters for the book. Me and Aira wrote the parts of the book. Lori and Ellie did the research of LOI 3. It was really fun writing the story we all enjoyed doing the work. -Aliya
In English, our group decided to make a book about Broadcasting. We first divided our work. Some of our group members designed our characters for the book. And some of us made the story and talked about the problem in the story. We had so much fun designing the characters and talking about the book. -Ellie
In English we decided to make a book about. First we divided part one and part two of the book. then we started writing what the book was gonna be. we decided of a problem and The solution. Next when we were done writing the book on words we added it to story jumper. Then we made the characters an the book cover and we are going to publish it to the PYP library.-Erika
In English, we wrote down our central idea in my PYPx notebook. We finalized the our central idea in the notebook. We wrote down some ideas for our Lines of Inquiry and we put our key concepts, and related concepts. We wrote down our ATLS and Sub skills. We thought of our questions ( causes, effects, and ways to prevent) for LOIs. We also wrote our IB learner profiles. -Lori
Bahasa Indonesia
In Bahasa, we read a book called Di Dalam World Wide Web, (WWW). The story was about students learning about the internet world. The book talked about a famous Scientist who wanted to find a way to share information much faster and better. There was a robot in devices called Nettikutti, Nettikutti taught the students how the World Wide Web works -Aira
In bahasa, we had to write 2 paragraphs about our favorite media platform. I did about Youtube. We had to answer 4 questions, the first question was : "Why do we like that specific media platform?", "How long do we use it in a day", "What are the pros and cons of that media platform" and lastly, "How do we stop ourselves in using it?" We read a book called Di Dalam World Wide Web. We wrote the characters, the setting, the summary, and the moral of the story. I only wrote some details because I didn't know what the story was about and it was confusing. But I did it successfully.-Ellie
In bahasa class we had to pick our favourite media platform. I ended up picking Pinterest because I like to get inspiration from there. Then we wrote why we use it, How many times a day we use it, what are the benefits and what could improve more. After that we then decorated our poster and submitted it. This was a fun activity and it was very easy. -Erika
In Bahasa, I read a book about world wide web / WWW. After i read the book, I made a poster and I wrote about the characters, the summary, the moral, and I drew a picture of the characters and I also drew a picture of the Earth. The book was about 60 pages so, it was quite tiring. -Lori
Dance
For dance, We had to make groupings and my group is Erika, Lori, and Neby! Our topic is related to media, and so we decided to make the dance related to fake love, online dating, and love. We decided our song to be "Cupid by FIFTY FIFTY" since we think that the lyrics from the song is quite related to online dating since you don't know what consequences you might face by online dating (In simple words, You might be dating someone that you don't actually know.) -Aira
We had to make our own dance, and we could choose how many people were in my group. I chose to do it with my fellow friend named Emir! We chose the song "Valentines" after we chose the song, we had to decide on the type of dance, which is contemporary. After that, we chose the storyline and dance moves.-Aliya
For the dance, we had to choose our group. I had 8 group members including me. Velica, Brandon, Jebby, Kiran, Shanty, Elea, and me. We had to choose our song and decide on the movements. However, Jebby wanted to do an "OMG" song so we decided to choose OMG as our song. So far we haven't decided on our dance movements. -Ellie
In dance class we had to find a group. Then we had to pick a song we picked the song Cupid by Fifty-Fifty. Then we started making the movements. The movements had to be related to media so we added some movements that really did do media. Once we were done we had to send the video of us dancing to the song to the teacher. -Erika
We are making a dance routine. We are in groups/ individual. Im in a group with Aira, Erika and Neby. We are doing a dance that involves *media* My group does the song "Cupid" by Fifty Fifty (kpop girl group) we connect it with love and internet. Meaning, online love. We worked kind of hard, it was kind of hard but it was also really easy!! -Lori
Music
For Music, We are doing a PYP exhibition show. My role is to be a part of the dancers (We also need to sing) Dancing is very fun since you can get lots of exercise while having fun. I am very happy to get the dancing role since my hobby is dancing, and it's very simple if you get the hang of it. The dancers usually practice every Thursday in the dance room with Ms Murti. -Aira
In Music, I am singing for the song "Dreamers" in PYP exhibition. I really like singing, so it was really enjoyable for me. Everyone is doing a different role. My friends are doing either being a musician or dancer. But Im a singer. I really enjoy singing for the dreamers. Singing is my hobby. -Aliya
In music, we are, singing, dancing and playing instruments. The song we are playing is Dreamers. I am playing the piano with Betty. Erika and Aira are one of the dancers. Aliya is singing. Sometimes we have a rehearsal of practicing. It's one of my favourite subjects! All grade 5 enjoy it. I enjoy it very much because the music is very good and it's very entertaining. -Ellie
In music class we are practising singing dancing and playing the instrument for the song dreamers. This is going to be in our opening ceremony as my role I am one of the dancers and I also have to sing. We practice every Tuesday after school and Wednesday in music class. And I practice with Ms Murti every Thursday -Erika
For music, for our PYP exhibition show, the whole grade 5 is doing music. The song is "The Dreamers" (some people are doing dance) I am the musician / instrument player. I play the gambang, its really really really really easy. I remember all of the notes. I'm really happy that I am doing gambang because it sounds really good and peaceful. -Lori
Visual Art
In Visual Art, We were told to make an invitation card for the PYPX ceremony. Each of the groups needed to make the poster and whoever's poster that is good is gonna get used. I really liked our poster since I think that the poster was very decorative and catchy, but sadly, our poster wasn't used. -Aira
In Visual Art, we made an invitation card for the PYP exhibition. All of the PYPx groups had to design a different kinds of posters / invitation. Our invitation wasn't chosen to be used but at least we had a lot fun when we were making the invitation. We kind of argued a bit because of the decorations, but we got it done in the end. -Aliya
In Visual Art, we made an invitation card for our PYP exhibition. It is not really fun but I have fun decorating it. All of the PYPX groups had to make posters and invitations. The invitation is to invite other schools, parents and others. So, that's why we had to make it very detailed. -Ellie

Our teacher told us to make a card to invite other schools ,parents and others. We had to design our card on Canva with our groups. We wrote some sentences and decorated the card. Then our teacher needed to choose which card they were going to use for our pypx.-Erika
For visual art, My PYPx group make a invitation poster for PYP exhibition. It was really fun and, because I really like making posters. It is okay that my groups poster wasn't picked but at least we had fun while making the invitation poster. My group and I tried our best to make the poster look good, we argued a little because we can't decide which decorations are better. But we still had a lot of fun making it. -Lori
