So... How do I audition?

Audition Dates

Choreography Workshop: Monday Sept 23 2:40-3:40

Auditions: Monday Sept 23 3:40-4:40 OR Wednesday THURSDAY Sept 26 2:40-4:40

Callbacks: (As needed, by invitation) MONDAY Sept 30

In order to Audition, you must...

1. Turn in a SIGNED audition form (see below!)
2. Sign up for an audition time with Ms. Young (in SD-2)
3. Prepare a SONG and MONOLOGUE from the audition options (memorized!)
4. Come to the Choreography workshop on Monday Sept 23
5. Either stay to Audition on Monday, or come back to audition on THURSDAY according to your time slot *NOTE As of 9/19 all the Monday Timeslots are full, but there is still space to audition on Thursday!

Here are a few tips to help you prepare:

• Be Prepared – Take the time to understand what you're singing, memorize the monologue, and stay in character throughout.
• Be Confident - Be as relaxed as possible, but demonstrate that you have stage presence, and project your voice.
• Have Fun - This whole process is about having fun, so be proud that you have had the courage to audition!
