Crew Information

Any student that is enrolled in Ms. Young's Tech Theatre classes can apply to be a part of the backstage crew. Crew applications are due Thursday, Oct 3. You do not need to audition or sign up for a timeslot to be on crew... you just turn in a signed application form.

Crew selections will be announced by the end of October.

There are TWO categories of Crew… RUN CREW and STAGE MANAGER

STAGE MANAGERS: Must be at all rehearsals. The SMs will help take notes during rehearsals, help Ms. Young with attendance and keeping rehearsals in order, and will be in charge of the crew during the performances. A VERY important job!

RUN CREW: Works backstage DURING the performance. Must be able to attend ALL performances and ALL rehearsals in January.

Run Crew Positions:

Light Crew- Run the Light board and the spot lights during the performances.

Sound Crew- Run the Sound board, mics, and CD player during the performances.

Costume/ Make-up Crew- Help the actors get ready for each performance, help with any costume repairs, and help with any quick changes during the show.

Stage Crew- Help move the set pieces and props into place during the performances.
