Tiger's Eye
Tigers' Eye is a crystal of the Quartz variety (Macrocrystelline specifically), that is usually a metamorphic stone with a brown or golden striped colouration. Though dull when as a raw chunk of rock, the Tigers' Eye often has a brilliant colouration when tumbled, from the parallel intergrowth of quartz crystals. There are many variations of Tigers' Eye, with Cats' Eye and Hawks' Eye being some of the more common variations, and Tiger' Iron is a combination of Tiger's Eye, Red Jasper, and Black Haematite.
In some parts of the world, the Tiger's Eye is said to ward off the Evil Eye from someone, and Roman Soldiers used to wear engraved Tiger's Eye to protect them in battles.
In more modern usage, the stone is said to encourage bringing in money, personal growth and self-improvement, but conversely is also said to be able to cause breakups and extreme independence. The stone also is said to aid in increasing one's insight, assist with divine connection, and sharpen the senses, as well as aid in the users' focus. Modern media and witchcraft believe that one can spiritually take on the properties of a Tiger using the stone.

Tigers' Eye Activities:
My Tigers' Eye chunk is an incense holder that I use when practising Witchcraft at home (I burn incense to 'Start' and 'Finish' my craft, as well as I believe it brings in stringer connection to spirits).
