The Villages Pops Chorus is excited to welcome singers who would like to join our musical family. If you love to sing, enjoy being part of a warm and spirited community, and are ready to share your voice with a dynamic ensemble, we invite you to audition with us.
Auditions will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 11 and Saturday, July 18. Our process is friendly, supportive, and designed to help you feel comfortable. We’re listening for musicality, blend, pitch accuracy, and a willingness to grow within a group that values harmony, camaraderie, and joyful music‑making.
Whether you’ve sung in choirs for years or are rediscovering your love of singing, we encourage you to take this step. The Pops Chorus is a place where voices come together, friendships form, and music brings joy to both singers and audiences throughout The Villages.
If you’re interested in auditioning or would like more information, we’d be delighted to hear from you. Come share your voice — we can’t wait to meet you.
Prepare for a Star‑Spangled evening!
As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, the Villages Pops Chorus will present a program that blends stirring patriotic music with beloved popular classics. Alongside our tributes to the red, white, and blue, you’ll enjoy memorable favorites such as The Impossible Dream, What a Wonderful World, and You’ve Got a Friend — songs that reflect the hope, compassion, and shared humanity that unite us. This year’s concert is designed not only to honor our nation’s past but also to remind us of the ideals that continue to guide us forward and inspire future generations. With more than 100 voices joining together, the sound will be both powerful and deeply moving.
Join us for “A USA Celebration” on Monday, July 27, 2026, with performances at 3 PM and 6 PM at North Lake Presbyterian Church. Tickets go on sale Saturday, May 30, 2026, and can be purchased online at thevillagespops.thundertix.com or thevillagespopschorus.com. We encourage early reservations, as this special anniversary program is expected to draw a full and enthusiastic audience eager to share in this historic milestone and the joy of community music‑making. Bring your friends and neighbors — this is an event meant to be experienced together.
We are proud to honor our nation’s 250th birthday with music that celebrates the courage, conviction, and enduring spirit that shaped America. A special appearance by Benjamin Franklin will bring the story of our nation’s beginnings to life in a warm and engaging way, offering both humor and historical insight that will delight audiences of all ages.
Patriotic favorites such as An American Anthem, The Star‑Spangled Banner, Salute to the Armed Forces, and God Bless the USA will highlight the unity and resilience that have carried our nation through 250 remarkable years. These selections remind us that our shared story is one of perseverance, sacrifice, and unwavering hope — a legacy worth celebrating with pride.
We are especially honored to include many former military members in our chorus. Their service reminds us that patriotism is not only sung, but lived. Pictured are six of the thirteen members of our chorus who are veterans. We invite all veterans in the audience to wear attire that reflects their service — uniforms, caps, medals, or other meaningful items — as we pay tribute to your dedication and sacrifice. Your presence profoundly enriches this celebration.
Join us for an evening of music, history, and heartfelt celebration as we honor America’s 250th anniversary and look forward with optimism to the years ahead.
The Villages Pops Chorus is proud to honor its longstanding tradition of generosity.
Since 2014, the passion of our singers, paired with the steadfast support of our audiences, has enabled us to contribute more than $325,000 to exceptional local charities.
The photo shown here captures our formal donation to Our Moment Café, a memory café supporting partners living with dementia. This gift is one of ten $1,000 contributions we awarded in January 2026 as part of our ongoing commitment to community impact.
