Install The Tide Simulator
Open the Google Workspace™ Marketplace listing for The Tide Simulator (link will be added once Marketplace publication is complete).
Click Install.
Choose the Google account you want to install into.
Review and accept the permissions: view and manage the current spreadsheet only; display add-on sidebars/dialogs; run as an Apps Script™ project.
Open any Google Sheet™.
Go to Extensions, then The Tide Simulator, then Open.
First simulation
In the sidebar, define your input cells (means, standard deviations, or distributions).
Set the number of trials (start with 1,000 to keep runs fast).
Click Run simulation.
Results are written back into the sheet: summary statistics on one tab, percentile bands on another.
Tips
Keep your sheet under about 20,000 cells for best performance. Apps Script™ has execution limits.
Save before running large simulations.
Use one workbook per simulation project.
