Chrismonte was founded as a fun project by Simon and Benjamin D on November the 12th, 2023, by signing a declaration of independence and the founding constitution.
Chrismonte is a Republic, more or less democratic. When we have enough citizens, we will elect a President, who wields the executive power, and a Council of Elders, which wields the legislative and judicial powers. There should be elections about every six months.
No, citizenship is free and accessible to all. You can apply easily, you will just need to state your motivations for becoming a citizen.
For the moment, a Temporary Committee is ruling Chrismonte, until the Republic is ready to flourish on its own. Once we have enough citizens, elections will be held, and any citizen may candidate to any political office.
