Chrismontean citizenship
Chrismontean citizenship is free and open to all. We allow dual and multiple citizenships, so you do not have to give up any privileges linked to other nationalities you might possess.
Chrismontean citizens have rights and duties. As our constitution states, Chrismonte upholds human rights and considers a certain number of freedoms as essential. Thus, Chrismontean citizens can enjoy fundamental rights and freedoms such as freedom of expression, assembly, opinion, religion and privacy, as well as the right to a fair trial. Citizens may participate in political life by voting during elections and referendums and suggesting laws, or even being elected to the Council of Elders. Citizens' duties include respecting Chrismontean law and promoting a good image of the nation, as well as respecting each other. Participation in political and social life is desired. Finally, you must promise to respect the Chrismontean constitution and Chrismontean law.
Becoming a citizen doesn't give you any benefits for travels or real-world affairs. The Chrismontean government has limited power in protecting its citizens abroad. You can cancel your citizenship whenever you want.
