Our Dream
Our Dream
The Rebels Ranch began with a simple belief: life was never meant to be a race.
Somewhere along the way, many of us found ourselves working longer hours, carrying more stress, and spending less time with the people we love. We know that feeling because we've lived it ourselves.
Our dream isn't simply to build a ranch. It's to create a place where life slows down, where neighbors become friends, where food is grown with care, where products are made by hand, and where people can rediscover the joy of simple living.
Because we don't just want a simpler life for ourselves...
We want to help others find it too.
Join the Journey
The Rebels Ranch isn't something we're waiting to build someday. It's something we're building every single day.
Every candle we pour, every jar of pepper jelly we make, every bracelet we tie, every hauling job Vincent completes, every extra shift I work, and every blog we write brings us one step closer to turning this dream into reality. We're not asking for help because we're unwilling to work for this dream—we're asking because we already are.
When the time comes to begin our journey west, we won't simply be moving to Oregon. We'll continue working along the way, documenting our adventure, supporting ourselves through the businesses we've built, and stopping to meet veterans, small business owners, and communities who share our love for simple living. The journey itself will become part of The Rebels Ranch story.
But our dream has always been bigger than building a ranch.
We want to build a place where people know they matter.
Over the years, we've seen too many veterans return home carrying burdens most of us will never fully understand. Too many struggle with housing, meaningful employment, mental health, food insecurity, or simply finding a community where they feel they belong. While there are organizations and people working every day to help, we also know that many veterans continue to fall through the cracks. No one who was willing to risk everything in service to our country should ever feel forgotten.
We know we can't solve every problem, but we believe we can make a difference. We can open a gate. We can share a meal. We can teach a skill. We can offer honest work. We can listen. We can create a place where veterans, families, neighbors, and anyone searching for a simpler way of life can gather, heal, learn, and know they are welcome.
Oregon is where this dream has the best chance to grow. It's where Vincent's family, lifelong friends, and fellow veterans are waiting to help us build something much bigger than ourselves. Together, we hope to create a place where handcrafted goods, healthy food, honest work, and community come together. A place where children can learn where food comes from, families can reconnect around the dinner table, veterans can rediscover purpose and friendship, and everyone who walks through our gate feels like they've come home.
Whether you shop with us, hire Vincent's Hauling Service, follow our blog, share our story, or support our GoFundMe, you're helping us build more than a ranch. You're helping create a place where simple living can still thrive.
We can't change the whole world. But if The Rebels Ranch changes one life, reminds one veteran they aren't forgotten, or helps one family reconnect with what truly matters, then every late night, every extra shift, every mile, and every sacrifice will have been worth it.
The Journey Ahead
Every dream begins with a single step.
For us, that first step wasn't buying land or building a ranch. It was choosing to believe that a different kind of life was possible. Since then, every product we've handcrafted, every hauling job completed, every extra shift worked, and every lesson learned has become another step toward that dream.
The road ahead won't always be easy, and we know there will be challenges along the way. But every milestone, big or small, is proof that we're moving forward. Some will happen sooner than others, and some may change as the journey unfolds, but each one brings us closer to opening the gates of The Rebels Ranch.
We'd love for you to walk this road with us.
Maybe you'll discover us while we're pouring candles at our kitchen table. Maybe you'll follow our cross-country journey to Oregon. Maybe one day you'll stop by the ranch for a cup of tea, fresh bread, or simply to sit on the porch for a while.
However our paths cross, we're grateful you're here.
The milestones below aren't just goals—they're chapters in a story we're writing one day at a time.
Help Us Build - The Rebels Ranch
If you've read this far, thank you. You now know our story, our dream, and the future we're working so hard to build.
Every candle we pour, every hauling job Vincent completes, every product we create, and every extra hour we work brings us one step closer. We will continue doing everything we can to make this dream a reality because we believe it's worth fighting for.
But we've reached a point where hard work alone isn't enough.
Building a place that can serve veterans, families, and our community is bigger than the two of us. If our story has touched your heart, and you believe in what we're building, we humbly ask for your help.
Your donation isn't just helping us move to Oregon or purchase land. You're helping build a future where veterans can find community, families can reconnect with simple living, children can learn where their food comes from, and everyone who walks through our gates knows they are welcome.
As a small thank-you, every donor will receive our exclusive First Edition Founding Friend Print by email. This watercolor keepsake was created especially for the people who believed in The Rebels Ranch before it became a reality.
