The Lockdownathlon is an online championship made up of 10 different events.


Each event gives you the chance to earn points. After all events are completed, a winner will be revealed.

You can participate in an event by making a video of your performance. Try to show your best performance in this video.

Sometimes you will have to try several times before you achieve your best result.


You can upload your video on google classroom.

1 - Opening Event

The standing long jump, also known as the standing broad jump, is an athletics event. It was an Olympic event until 1912. It is one of three standing variants of track and field jumping events, which also include the standing high jump and standing triple jump.

  1. Create a start line. You can use a piece of rope, a line of tape or whatever you have available

  2. Try to jump as far forwards as possible, without running. You start from a standing position

  3. Mark your landing place from your heels

  4. Measure the distance from the start to the landing place

2 - Duathlon

Toilet roll balance

  1. Take 2 toilet rolls of the same size

  2. Balance both of the rolls on your head

  3. Now stand on 1 leg

  4. Time your performance

The toilet roll balance challenge is a sports event born in the year 2020. This extremely challenging sport's discipline finds its roots in the beautiful city of Antwerp, where it was invented.

The art consists of balancing several toilet rolls on your head for a considerable amount of time.

3 - Triathlon

A skipping rope or jump rope is a tool used in the sport of skipping/jump rope where one or more participants jump over a rope swung so that it passes under their feet and over their heads. There are multiple subsets of skipping/jump rope, including single freestyle, single speed, pairs, three-person speed (Double Dutch) and three-person freestyle (Double Dutch freestyle)

  1. Take a skipping rope. If you don't have a skipping rope at home, you can try and make one with a piece of rope

  2. Try to jump as long as possible without making any mistakes

  3. Time your performance
