FORCE CLEANSING

This page contains information for how to cleanse corrupted objects using the force. 

This document isn’t to be read word-for-word - please follow the class procedure if you plan to host this class. 

Study the information and convey the information to your class in a style that suits you and in a fashion for Padawans to understand what is being taught.

PROCEDURE

FIRST STEPS

Generally, you want to start off by explaining what force cleansing is and make sure the Padawans understand. Afterward, read the guide and give them all the details. Once you’ve done that give an example /rp for them to see then have them all type a /rp so you can verify they understand. Answer any questions they may have and clear up all confusion. Next up show them how to cleanse an object as a group. In the final part of the class, you should give them a Roleplay scenario with something they need to cleanse and have them /rp how they would cleanse the object in the scenario. After that end the class, log them.

WHAT IS FORCE CLEANSING?

Force cleansing is the act of purging the darkness inside of an object by using the force. When you force cleanse, always remember your goal is to rid the object of all darkness. Cleansing is something you will be doing a lot if you become a Consular.. When you force cleanse it will be done either through a /rp, or /me. Most commonly you will be using /rp. Force cleansing is heavily RP-focused, the more detailed you are the more successful your cleanse will be. 

CLEANSING GUIDE

BEGINNING

As mentioned previously, force cleansing is done through a /rp or /me. More often than not you will be using /rp as a /me requires the gamemaster to be close to you. Force cleansing is at minimum a four-step process(see steps below). Before you begin the process make sure you are meditating and looking at the object you intend to cleanse. This is done to visibly show you are concentrating on the object and preparing to cleanse. Remember that detail and creativity are key to a successful cleanse and to inform the Padawans to be as creative as they can. Also remember that there are various objects that can be cleansed such as portals, weapons, etc. You won’t always be cleansing a crystal or a Holocron, there may be times when someone’s mind gets corrupted and you have to cleanse them. Be sure to adapt your responses depending on what the cleansing scenario is.

There will also be times when you may need multiple people to cleanse something. This can be because you are not powerful enough in the force to solo cleanse or because the object is simply too strong regardless of who you are. Lower ranks like Initiates and Padawans should especially work with others due to their weaker strength in the force. Regardless of rank, never be afraid to collaborate with others to cleanse, the combined strength of the many is better than the strength of one.

SIGNS OF CORRUPTION

The Force is within all living beings, it flows through us like the breeze, its inside us, its inside everybody and everything. Therefore almost anything can be corruptible, so be careful when dealing with said objects or people as it can be very dangerous. 

CLEANSING PROCESS

  • Have the room cleared of any distractions.

  • Be sure there are no contacts inside the room.

• Prepare yourself for the cleanse

  • Example 1: /rp channels my inner light side of the force

  • Example 2: /rp clears my mind

• Connect to the object through the force

  • Example 1: /rp reaches out to the object through the force

  • Example 2: /rp attempts to form a connection with the object

• Transfer your energy into the object

  • Example 1: /rp sends my Ashla into the object

  • Example 2: /rp concentrates all my energy into the object

• State your purpose

  •  Example 1: /rp attempts to cleanse

  • Example 2: /rp attempts to purge the Bogan within the object

• Combine steps into one or two messages

  • Example 1: /rp reaches out to the object through the force and channel’s my Ashla

  • Example 2: /rp forms a ball of concentrated Ashla and sends it into the object to purge the Bogan

  • Example 3: /rp attempts to form a connection to the object, channels my force energy, and sends it into the object to cleanse

• Ending Procedures

  • Collect the object, and store it in the Archives/Consular Sanctum
