Objective: Drive engagement and first-time purchases by showcasing the brand’s offerings and personality through a visually appealing, conversion-focused email.
The primary goal of this email was to introduce new customers to the Sage & Steam brand and encourage immediate action, whether that’s placing an order, claiming a welcome gift, or exploring the menu. The email needed to feel warm, authentic, and premium, reflecting the quality of the coffee while prompting quick conversion.
1. Visual Theme & Aesthetic
Chose an earthy, coffee-inspired color palette to create warmth and consistency with the product.
Used clean, rounded typography to maintain a friendly and modern tone.
Included lifestyle and product photography to emotionally connect with the viewer and enhance appetite appeal.
2. Hierarchy & Flow
Started with a brand value proposition: “Where tradition meets innovation in every perfect cup.”
Followed by a personal invitation to enjoy the coffee and place an order.
Integrated multiple CTA sections, Order Now, Claim Gift, and See Menu, to increase engagement opportunities.
Closed with customer favorites to build trust and add social proof.
3. Promotions & Incentives
Added a 10% welcome gift and free membership card offer to boost conversions and provide immediate value.
Used persuasive, action-oriented copy to drive clicks.
Estimated open rate increase: +20% due to compelling subject line and strong header.
Click-through rate boost: Multiple CTAs placed strategically led to a higher likelihood of engagement.
Improved user retention: The free membership card creates a reason for repeat visits and brand loyalty.
