Different Classes of CDL
There are 3 main Types of CDL
Class B- Dump trucks, Utility Trucks, Box Trucks, Motor coach (Large Bus).
Class C- Delivery Vans , Airport shuttle bus, small School bus,
Different types of Trucks
Passenger Van with 16 or more people is a Class C with Passenger endorsement
Motor coach (Large Bus) is a Class B with a Passenger Endorsement
School Bus- can be a Class C (for the smaller bus) School Bus endorsement and a Class B (Larger Bus) School bus Endorsement
Class B trucks with the Tank Endorsement-Vacuum Trucks, Septic Trucks, and Water tank Trucks are Class B trucks with the Tank Endorsement.
Fuel Delivery Trucks must also have the Hazardous materials Endorsement.
Endorsements
Endorsements are what you are allowed to haul
Passenger (Can be added to a CLP)
Haz-Mat (can only be added to an existing CDL)
Tanker (Can be added to a CLP)
Doubles & Triples (for Combination Vehicles Class A; Can be added to a CLP)
Restrictions
E-No manual transmission
K- Intrastate only
L- No air brake equipped CMV
M- No Class A passenger Vehicle
N- No Class A and B passenger vehicle
O- No tractor trailer CMV
P- Nom passenger in CMV
V- Medical Variance
X- No cargo in CMV tank vehicle
Z- No full airbrake vehicle (This applies to people that take their exam with a vehicle that has Air over Hydraulic brakes.)
We are a Contract Training Provider which means that we contract with a Company and train its employees only. This also means that your employees are not subject to outside influences like Truck Driving company recruiters. Also we utilize your equipment ensuring that they are qualified to operate your specific equipment. We are not licensed to provide career services like job placement, or financial aid. We work with current employers to upgrade the lives of their people.

Chapter 1005:NONPUBLIC POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION
1005.06 Institutions not under the jurisdiction or purview of the commission.—
(1) Except as otherwise provided in law, the following institutions are not under the jurisdiction or purview of the commission and are not required to obtain licensure:
(d) Any institution that offers only avocational programs or courses, examination preparation programs or courses, contract training programs or courses, continuing education, or professional development programs or courses.
