The Blow-ins

Bridget and Phil are The Blow-ins and their beautiful, unique sounds have been beguiling audiences since they met on Iona in 2012. They are a respected and in-demand duo for events, clubs and festivals. Scarborough-based, they create gentle acoustic music with Celtic harp, guitar and voices. Playing original, contemporary and traditional folk, they draw inspiration from their Yorkshire home, the natural world and the messiness of human life in all its aspects.

Poignant, funny, mesmerising and passionate by turns, the Blow-ins have charmed audiences from Scotland to Cornwall with their unique sound and will take you on an unforgettable musical journey.

In addition to Festival performances the Blow-ins have given concerts across the country from Oban to Cornwall and are much-enjoyed folk club guests. We’re seasoned performers and particularly enjoy intimate settings such as churches, village halls and house concerts. We also love a stage.
