Hellooo 2026! here's a new calendar for you.. we can't wait... We'll start with the regular events:
TIME FOR PEACE
These regular meditative events take place on the FIRST THURSDAY of each month from 11 till 12, in the Lady Chapel at St Martin -on-the-Hill, Scarborough. We play instrumental duets for an hour in silence, come and go as you please. It's free but if you can make a donation to the church before leaving that would be greatly appreciated. Currently we have these scheduled until July 2027.
FOLK AROUND THE ROOM
The Blow-ins host a folk singaround on the THIRD Sunday of the month from 7.30pm upstairs at the Westover Club, Westover rd, Scarborough. The club has free parking. We charge an entry fee of £2 per person which includes a raffle ticket. Audience, singers and musicians welcome in the folk genre, traditional , contemporary and original.

19 September 1900 Scalby Temperance Hall : Concert with The Blow-ins and the John Ward Trio - only 50 tickets available, book to be sure of a seat, they are selling fast.

6th November, 7.00pm Temperance Hall Scalby. With popular Pickering-based trio, Accord. Admission £10 - booking advisable, ring Kath 07930376918. Proceeds to Martin House Children's Hospice.
20 November 7.30pm Bodmin Folk Club, St Petroc's Parish Centre, Bodmin - Club admission fee.
22 November 7.30pm Dreamers Folk Club, The Victoria Inn, Four Lanes, Redruth TR166PZ : Club admission fee.
9 December 3.00pm Mojo's Music Cafe, Victoria Rd , Scarborough Free admission with a 'hat' passed around the room. Come and enjoy a late lunch or cake with a selection of hot or cold drinks including the best chilli hot chocolate in town, accompanied by us! This is always a favourite gig for The Blow-ins and we will make it seasonal....
