Hellooo 2026! here's a new calendar for you.. we can't wait... We'll start with the regular events:
TIME FOR PEACE
These regular meditative events take place on the SECOND Wednesday of each month from 11 till 12, in the Lady Chapel at St Martin -on-the-Hill, Scarborough. We play instrumental duets for an hour in silence, come and go as you please. It's free but if you can make a donation to the church before leaving that would be greatly appreciated. Currently we have these scheduled until 8 July 2026; we will take a break in August.
FOLK AROUND THE ROOM
The Blow-ins host a folk singaround on the THIRD Sunday of the month from 7.30pm upstairs at the Westover Club, Westover rd, Scarborough. The club has free parking. We charge an entry fee of £2 per person which includes a raffle ticket. Audience, singers and musicians welcome in the folk genre, traditional , contemporary and original.
10 May and 16th May 2-3pm: The Parish Project, Malton: music to accompany the 'Unearthed' exhibition - contemporary responses to the work of Ian Athelstan Parkinson. Free.
15 May 7.00pm St Mary's Church, Scarborough : 'Mr Walters' Excursion' - an evening with Tim Tubbs and The Blow-ins to open Scarborough's Big Ideas by the Sea Festival. Tickets here
25 May 7.00pm St Mary's church, Scarborough : Festival Folk club, hosted by the Blow-ins and showcasing some of the finest local talent. Tickets here
30 May 1130am Crescent Gardens, Scarborough 30 minute outdoor set as part of Scarborough streets festival. Free.
10 June 7.00pm Quaker Meeting House, Castle lane Pickering : Wild words, wild songs: an evening of music and conversation with Turtle dove expert Richard Baines , The Blow-ins and special guest Anna Bailey - tickets on the door, pay what you can.

22 August Whitby Folk Festival 'Locals' Welcome concert
