I am currently doing my full-time student teaching at FLAIM Elementary. At FLAIM, the students focus on language immersion in Spanish, French, and Mandarin. My mentor teacher, Alicia Lewis, and I incorporate the value of language immersion into our teaching through performances such as Cultural Celebrations for each language and incorporate learning opportunities about their culture through music.

I served my part-time student teaching at Walker High School under the direction of Jeffery Seigman and Edwin Hirst. During this time, I would attend Walker for two days out of the week giving lessons to the double reed players, running the rehearsals for their front ensemble, and after school I would function as a tech for their marching band.
