Master thesis offer

We are looking for a Master Student to carry out a project in collaboration with the laboratory of Prof. Nassir Navab at the Technical University in Munich.

The project has two goals. The first goal is to register three dimensional image stacks of neuronal dendrites and spines repeatedly imaged at different time points in the live mouse. The second goal is to develop an automated method to detect and label dendritic spines in these 4D datasets (3D+time), with the aim of identifying the status of each detected spine (persistent, disappearing, newborn) in each time point with reference to previous time points.
