Course Description:
3D Visual Art + Design is a dynamic, multi-faceted class that will address dimensional and spatial art and design. Students will engage in both indoor and outdoor projects that will address the design process and require students to develop project proposals and project narratives. In this class, students will engage in dimensional and spatial skill building experiences from preliminary aspects through final installation. 3D design sometimes requires 2D initial exploration and planning in order to achieve successful outcomes in 3D. Students will also be responsible for conducting research, presenting to their peers, and developing written responses to a specific set of parameters.
