Changes to TFU Handbook - SEPTEMBER 2025 - RTFO and Policy Updates
[IMPORTANT] [POLICY CHANGED] 2.1 RTFOs may not gear up unless authorised by another TFO who holds a higher certification than "Recruit". They may also self-deploy in the event of a confirmed major firearms incident or if a panic button is pressed.
Reworded RTFO description in the "chain of command" page.
RTFO applications are now live. More adjustments have been made.
- Question bank increased further from 36 questions to 40
- Pass percentage requirement increased from 86% to 92% (Applicants need to score 14/15 to pass)
- Massive overhaul and rewording of all questions and new question types (including some 4-choice questions/video review questions).
Hopefully, these changes will make the applications stay up for a longer period of time. If you have any questions about the application, please open a helpdesk ticket towards TFU.
[NEW] TFU Certification icons have been created to provide a clearer visual representation of the chain of command. These badges are intended solely for use within the handbook as visual aids in conjunction with the new polices added below. More information can be seen here.
