Sarah Trabattoni and Steven Tilsner had their wedding photographs taken by Grace & Ardor Co. on the Bellevue Hotel's nineteenth-floor balcony.

These days, many engaged couples say "I do" to a theme based on the couple's shared travel experiences. Like the Big Day itself, the memories you make while travelling with your loved one will last a lifetime. Grace & Ardor Co. captured the festivities at this couple's Parisian-themed wedding at the Ballroom at the Ben. Have a look at the cute and romantic specifics down here.

Sarah Trabattoni and Steven Tilsner found that it was impossible not to fall in love in the City of Love. Sales manager Sarah and international finance head Steven first crossed paths in 2014 while attending St. Joseph's University. They started dating in high school but didn't get serious until after graduation.

In June of 2019, the couple went on a trip to Paris and the south of France, and they were amazed not only by the sights, but also by each other. According to Sarah, "it was when we first confided in each other that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together," and she resolved that their future marriage would reflect the journey.

In May of 2020, Steven followed through on his promise and proposed. Sarah's decision to have their April 2022 wedding in Philadelphia inspired her to bring a touch of Paris to the city. "Everything I chose for the wedding design was founded in a Parisian flair," the bride explains.

After getting married at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, the newlyweds Sarah and Steven celebrated with guests during a reception.

The Ballroom at the Ben in the heart of the city provided a picturesque setting with its turn-of-the-century European decor for their reception. Centerpieces of towering cherry-blossom branches and antique brass candelabra draped in foliage gave Sarah and Steven's reception a romantic, whimsical atmosphere, in contrast to the high-drama decor often seen at the Ballroom at the Ben.

A beautiful colour palette of bisque, cream, French blue, light grey, and dusty pink was used for the event's floral decorations, which included garden roses, sweet peas, and cherry-blossom branches.

Arrangements of garden roses, cherry-blossom branches, pink hydrangea, yarrow, and white lilac sprung out from the floor around the White Glove Rentals sofa in the lounge.

Bridal gown designer Monique Lhuillier, of Filipino and French descent, combined elements of her two most recognisable looks for her one-of-a-kind creation. Samantha, Sarah's sister and the maid of honour, wore a Sabina Musáyev gown, while the rest of the bridal party wore platinum-colored Amsale dresses.

Italy was also acknowledged on the Big Day. Sarah's grandmother, who is now 90 and left Sicily when she was 19, offered a heartfelt blessing to the 220 guests at the dinner. Following the conclusion of the festivities, the happy couple took a two-week trip to Italy to visit romantic cities like Rome, Florence, and Venice.
